Noticed that Purdue sneaks by Maryland in Mackey 58-55.

So I guess the same is true about what was said on the IU game last night, or does that only go one way? Malachi Moreno of Kentucky seems to be quite interested. We'll see how the recruitment turns out. I do believe Painter's (and Brantley's) success with Edey will attract attention. Proof is in the pudding.

As for Berg, he is said to be developing OK according to reports. Hard to say in the absence of seeing him. However, Edey's development does give the benefit of the doubt.
Edey is the same player now that he was as a freshman. He just plays more. If Berg were the next Edey, he wouldn’t be redshirting.

You actually think you are going to get Moreno? Comments like that are why no one takes you seriously. Next you are going to tell us you are going to get Flory.

If a person spends 24/7 on their rival's website, including during their own team's games, this person doesn't have a life: it speaks for itself.
He just admitted he doesn’t have a life. Goes to friends house “on occasion”. Other than that only attends “local civic groups and cultural groups”. Miserable existence. Essentially just waiting to die.

Your comment about Edey was directly contradicted by Wright and Raftery during the broadcast today. I suspect that they know a bit more than you do about the subject of basketball.

As for Moreno, he was supposed to be coming to the game today. He has made multiple trips to visit. Seems to me that if you keep doing that you have more than a trivial interest. Also, some Purdue folks tell the story of stopping in a restaurant in KY that he was also at. He came over to their table to talk and ask questions. They said that he was very nice. Maybe it's just me, but that strikes me as at least seriously interested. He may choose to go elsewhere, but to say uninterested strikes me as nonsense.

Lol I would offer to bet you that Purdue doesn’t land Moreno, but I wouldn’t want to take away your funds for your civic and cultural groups. What a loser.

What's wrong with learning a language? I was always taught knowing different languages was a benefit. Besides English, I have a working knowledge of 3 and I am learning another. It's useful when you travel abroad. My wife is pretty fluent in seven and learning another with me.

I do not get why trying to make your community better is a bad thing but that assumes that I take your comment seriously. You think that my life is miserable and you can. Personally, I find your anti-intellectualism rather sad but to each his own.

Are you Abugabby? Lol. Do you have any furniture pictures you would like to share?

I do not make internet bets with people whom I do not know. I place bets with people that I can trust to pay off if I win. I never go to a casino, even when in Las Vegas. Plus, I do not know Moreno other than what I have read so I cannot place a probability estimate of what he will do with real confidence. I only bet on things that I have confidence in my probability estimate.

If you have the time to learn that many languages on your own time, then you have no life. Maybe you could get to 7 languages if you didn’t spend so much time here.

You don’t make your community better. Weird people like you are a detriment to a better community.

You go to Vegas and don’t go to the casino? I didn’t think you could become any more of a loser, but each post you surpass the one before. Truly impressive.

This may help explain why your writing is so poor.

He probably always is the smartest guy in the room, because it’s always just him and his wife sitting around learning foreign languages they will never use
The free internet message boards are the intellectual center of the universe. I'm so glad we have this guru who spends 24/7 on IU's board and no life to guide all of us mortal sheep through existence.

People who go to casinos in LV are suckers. The House always has a huge edge that they are unwilling to ever give up. You obviously know very little math or else are compulsive.

I really don't care for LV. I have had to go there for conferences, but I don't enjoy it. I much prefer travel to Europe or Canada than going to Vegas.

What do you want to teach me about the practice of law today, guru? I am so blessed to be your presence. You are truly the smartest guy in the entire room.

Wrong again, it's part of a class. Plus, I'm not the best student in the class. You have this thing about being consistently in error.

That's an odd comment. I have always been told that I was a good writer and I have had to write published articles as part of my career. Of course, more than a few of the people that told me that actually taught writing at the university level but what the heck, you know better. (tic)

I'm not a lawyer so I wouldn't teach you anything about it. I do have some close relatives that could, however. They made Law Review.

When you lack evidence, you don't have a good argument: learn it, know it, live it. Here's another lesson: what you did in law school matters for about 3 months after you graduate. You don't know anything about me, but don't let that stop you.

Go get a life.

At Purdue you may have been among the better writers, rather low bar.

You don’t go to casinos with the intent of winning. You go to have a great time with your friends. Since you have no friends, it makes sense that you don’t go.

Why are you 63 and still taking classes? Nothing else to do with your miserable life?

My friends don't go to casinos either. They know that it is a suckers' game. I'd rather save my money for a trip somewhere interesting.

Doesn’t sound like you have friends. Also sounds like you could use a better job if you can’t afford to lose a couple grand having fun with your friends.

Who says that's fun? I'd rather spend my money in Europe doing something interesting. Like I said: casinos are for suckers.

Wrong again, I never took a writing class at Purdue. I did have writing classes as an undergraduate. Plus, I have had published articles as a professional. But hey, what do editors of journals know about writing? You obviously know more than they do. Talk about having an inflated view of their judgment, you take the cake.

Lol spending hundreds (thousands?) of hours learning a language you will never use would point to a sucker more imo.

You believe the BS this clown is posting? He is an Ord/jackskip level liar begging for respect.

Knowing a good bit of French when having car trouble in very rural Quebec proved very useful for us. The locals were not very English-speaking. Also, the language that we are learning is spoken in the place to which we plan on traveling so I expect familiarity with it might be somewhat useful, But perhaps that's just me.

To each his own, if people choose to spend time in a casino gambling against a house with odds favoring that side of the table, so be it. I prefer doing things much more of personal interest and learning/seeing something new. Of course, the difference between us is vast in terms of respective interests and outlook upon knowledge.
