Nothing on here about Trudeau declaring martial law?

Another dumb ass thread started by a hillbilly whack job who searches the internet daily to find shit to be offended about ..

hilarious ..
I'm kindof surprised some don't know the difference between an illegal, international blockaid (which if determined has caused suffering to a neighboring country could be considered a war crime) vs a protest.

The intentional blocking of international trade routes is the rub here kiddos. To my understanding was strategically targeted and is currently happening at three border bridges.

The intentional blocking of emergency vehicle pathways just means you're being a dangerous f#$king asshole.

What are we going on...three weeks?

So no, I'm not surprised one bit.

Assholes gotta asshole.

That's an odd definition of war crime. I generally find the right to "protest" to be far too liberal and enforcement too lax. Protests of greater than a dozen or so should always require permits imo.

Do they want to send in the military to squash the unrest? Or beat back protestors for a photoshoot in front of the church?

Oh wait, that was Trump. nevermind, carry on with your selective complaining.
How many stores have these protestors looted, how many people have they assaulted and murdered during their protests, and how many city blocks have they burned down?

Moving the goal posts much?

Many posters (including myself) have maintained that anyone committing a crime (arson, looting) should be arrested and charged with it whether they were blm protestors or counter protestors.

That's a far cry from you conservatives who don't want jan 6 people to be charged with their crimes.

I find it ironic that conservatives had a big issue with protestors blocking roads during BLM protests but have no issue now with the trucker protests. Can you explain the hypocrisy in the stances?

Canada is not my problem. Should they block the streets? Nah. I think people should be allowed free movement on public streets. But I will paraphrase AOC here too, protests are supposed to make you uncomfortable.

However, this is literally a peaceful protest and their government declared martial law and is shutting off their ability to participate in commerce. And they haven't even looted a building yet. And dumb shits like you who claim to be "liberal" are cheerleading authoritarianism because Trudeau is aligning the state against the heretics (from your POV).

At the end of the day it is Canada and not the U.S. so I don't have a dog in the fight. That being said, it is not moving the goal posts to suggest that someone who was whining about the protestors not getting squashed like calls were for BLM to compare and contrast the behavior between the two sets of protestors.

You sound like the public service announcement in Walmart at the beginning of the plandemic. Follow the arrows, stay in line, please stay 6 feet apart, make sure your mask covers your nose and mouth, blah blah blah

Agree. They hypocrisy based on who is commiting the crime. Seems like so many false equivalents. I don't recall anyone here actively defending burning buildings.

I see the hypocrisy every day in my small town. During the riots many around me said we need to shoot to kill. Then January 6 happened and the fault now is placed in the police for being too rough. They were just protesting after all.

Now Republicans are trying to block adding individuals convicted of unruly acts in airplanes to the No Fly List. Selectively tough on crime I guess.

Which part is wrong Dan? And try to be objective in your response.

So news outlets like, thecovidworld.com, mustreadalaska.com, and extremelyamerican.com are not reputable news sources?

I looked at those names and knew right away it was all BS paranoia from the right.

If you're referencing the January 6 insurrection when asking "What crimes?", the best way for you to determine whether or not any crimes were committed is to go to the US Capitol, break a window and try to force your way in. If you make it inside, steal some furniture and personal items from legislators' offices. And if any Capitol police give you any grief overtake them, press them against the ground until they complain that they can't breathe. Or at the very least, just go inside and walk around restricted or guarded areas, even if you're told you're not allowed in those areas and are asked to leave.

Go do all that and come back and tell us how it ends up for you.

And as for the Canadian trucker protests, I'm not sure what laws are being broken, but it sure seems like you'd have to try really hard to not break a law while shutting down $300 million in production and lost wages.

Sorry, "emergency powers" that involve arresting, fining (like $5,000 or 5 years in jail if you bring a child to the protests), de-licensing, and stripping people from access to their own money. Also bringing in the RCMP and the Ottawa police to prepare to start rounding people up.

He has basically done everything but bring the military in.

Yeah, arresting and fining people who break the law. What a fascist!

The only thing he's done is federalize the process because the locals can't handle the job alone.

Canada sounds like such a lovely place to live. Maybe I should pick between Canada or China. Tough call.

Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland: "The names of both individuals and entities as well as crypto wallets have been shared by the RCMP with financial institutions and accounts have been frozen and more accounts will be frozen."

Very Well and thanks for laying that out. Yup, those folks should be prosecuted for theft and damages.

I don't live in Canada. My thoughts are after watching a session of their government yesterday is they are sick of Trudeau trying to act like a dictator. A woman I saw get up, and say this is Canada not a dictatorship was met with huge applause. Trudeau has brought this all on himself with govt. overreach. If you treat people with that kind of crap they are going to rise up and Canada has done that.

Now when I see people like hickory trying to defend blm, and the shit that went on in Chicago attempting to stop traffic he does not understand who that was. Those idiots were not even Chicagoans. As a matter of fact, I watched several black men from a neighborhood confront the so called BLM protesters, and told them to GTF out of their neighborhood because they weren't from there. They were also pissed because many of them did not want the cops over reacting in that neighborhood where these out of towners were stirring up shit.

Yeah. I'm also the guy who bought Dog Coin from a rec from a guy named BallerBoogie and I have an entire box of N95 masks upon the rec of a poster who disappeared but had inside knowledge on the doom that omnicron was certain to bring. So.....
Oh boy

This is a good example of why we cannot give up our guns!
Yes.

If we all had guns, we could shoot an underpowered designed-for-target-shooting-only .22 pistol into the radiators of all those illegally parked trucks that are disrupting commerce between two friendly countries. This would disable them and put their drivers out of work for a couple of weeks, plus make them identifiable so they could answer for the damage they caused innocent law-abiding businesses that merely wanted to maintain their supply chain to continue employment for their employees.

Edit: An ice pick to the radiators would be more polite. But would it be as effective? Let's hear from the Republicans!! What do you think, guys?!

I saw an interview with one of the blockading truckdrivers. The interviewer asked him what he wanted.

No shit, he answered, "Freedom."

What a child he must be. He should have answered, "selfishness." He want his "freedom" at the expense of others.

He has the instincts of a tyrant. He has question how long his political opposition can be "tolerated". He speaks of his political opposition in dehumanizing terms.

The govts of the US and Canada are going after greater control over the $. 'Emergency" powers over bitcoin in Canada. Biden wanting banks to share bank account info with the IRS. Trudeau wanting authority to confiscate not only the trucks of protesters, but the tow trucks of those companies that refuse to cooperate with the government. Biden's comptroller of currency nominee talking about the end of private banking.
The mother fkers are telling protesters that if dogs or others pets are taken into custody with their owners , those pets will be taken by animal control, and "maybe never seen again."

The mother fkrs are telling protesters that if their children are taken into custody, they will be handed over to "child protective custody",and parents charged with neglect and endangerment....

Young Castro was basically chased from the emergency session of Parliament by legislators who laughed at the bullshit he was spouting.

This won't be over until Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver are starving because no truckers, mechanics, farmers, or other key components of the food supply chain will not go there.

The US is next.

Convoy dates and routes are being announced now.

There's no escape from what is coming.

And yet you are OK with Hitler's treatment of the Jews.
