I gotta think Putin is smart enough to have not killed this guy in the midst of all the attention he’s currently receiving post Tucker.

Then again he killed that Russian general without a single care as to fallout. So, there’s that.

I think he did it because of all of the attention that he's getting. And now he gets the added benefit of embarrassing a popular american journalist even more than he did in the interview.

Pro-Trump media are comparing Trump to Navalny, arguing the cases against Trump are the product of a Biden/Dem plot to imprison a political opponent and ensure that he dies in jail. Completely ignores the fact that Biden has had nothing to do with any of the four indictments (two state, two federal) and that the federal cases are being directed by a Special Counsel. Of course, Special Counsel Jack Smith is just a puppet, damn it, of Biden and Garland. But wait! Special Counsel Robert Hur just delivered a body blow to that shrewd puppeteer, Biden, in his report. How does that square with the 'Special Counsel is a puppet' theory? This is so confusing!!

But back to Trump = Navalny. What a disgraceful insult to a heroic, courageous man. This isn't really surprising, though, given the fact that some of these same jokers have blasphemously compared Trump to Christ.

Wasn't a General, or even a private...never served a day in any military..however. did serve a number of years in prison.

Anyone who believes Trump's narrative that he's being persecuted and that he's fighting some good fight courageously isn't worth arguing with. As Zeke pointed out, this is cult behavior and without a severe and deep level of deprogramming, no amount of reason or rational discussion will turn someone like that away or against their cult leader.

What is reassuring and gratifying to me is the fact America has so much going for it that we will do well no matter who is the Oval Office.

The hard working Russians, on the other hand, live under a system which by comparison seems destined to fail despite having an abundance of natural resources. The U.S. GDP per capital is $70,000 with the Russians coming in at only $12,000.

So while we complain, the Russians make the best of a hopeless destiny which Navalny gave up his life trying to change.
