We watched CODA last night. Not a “great” movie but an enjoyable watch. I thought the acting was pretty solid and I liked the scenes were they gave the perspective of being deaf.

And Emilia Jones is going to be a superstar. I was floored to find out that she learned ASL in just 9 months - and even managed to do it without any hint of her British accent.

The scene when they cut the audio and Ruby and Miles were performing was great. My first reaction was c'mon! I want to hear them sing! It's the climactic moment of the film and you cut the audio?!? But, I quickly realized what the writers were so brilliantly conveying.
