So The NY Times is hyper-conservative?
not grasping your point in the slightest, so guessing you're just trolling, but on things economic in nature, it absolutely is conservative.
very pro corporate/wealthy might be more accurate.
that said, on social issues, gays and trans and blacks and browns and women and media can be conservative as well, and many are.
and being pro LGBTQ or pro black etc can take a "conservative" stance, if it's unfairly or disproportionately done so at the expense of and without the consideration of others.
blacks promoting blacks not being equally held accountable for their actions because they are black, is a conservative stance by the blacks or whites promoting it, not a liberal one.
trans or pro trans promoting M-F transgenders competing in women's sports, is a conservative, not a liberal stance.
a true liberal trans or pro trans would realize that a M-F trans competing in women's sports is inherently unfair to the born female, even if it is exclusive to them.
being pro minority isn't inherently a liberal stance just because it's pro minority.
if the stance is to unfairly benefit the minority at the expense of others, then it's a conservative stance, just as when a majority individual or group wants to unfairly benefit that majority at the expense of others.
it's the unfairly benefiting one over another, or not doing so, that makes a stance conservative or liberal.
not which group or individual is unfairly benefiting at another's expense.
