FWIW, nobody in coaching is more associated with RMK than Coach K. And even Coach K adjusted to the new reality. He knew he’d never keep winning without it.
It’s not cheating. It’s just operating without much value placed on occupying the moral high ground. Follow the rules, but push the envelope. Don’t worry about graduating kids, just keep them eligible. One and done? Sign right here.

No, I don't blame Woodson for this, but I will continue to say,until our program ever turns around, that firing Mike Davis was the greatest mistake IU made im it's basketball program. I have given the reasons many times but if you disagree, you must have been watching something very different than I watched for the last 16 years. The key is to get quality kids with tremendous character, who can be coached, who have a basketball sense and who do not believe the clippings they get from the shoe companies. God, I hope we can do better and now at 74, almost 75, I don't think I will ever see improvement. That,for a very old Hoosier, is very depressing.
JHS is the starting PG next season, with or without X.
X being a clown is not news to anyone paying attention.
They're both starters next year regardless. It doesn't matter which one's the point guard.
Can IU beat out Gonzaga and Arizona? Everything I've seen doesn't even have IU on his list.
90 seems pretty borderline for a reckless charge depending on where it happened. And a car like that will hit 90 in a few seconds if it's already rolling. Who among us at age 21-22 driving a car like that would have resisted the temptation to hit the gas on a open stretch of road for a few seconds? Why do you think insurance for a young driver on that kind of car is so expensive? I've been driving on interstates a lot lately and lots of people drive 90 or faster and do all kinds of other stupid things. So the 90 mph doesn't seem anything to get too worked up about.
The resisting part, don't know. Will need to hear what he actually did.
By the way, if you don't think the local cops would look the other way or handle IU athletes differently back in RMK's days, you're living in a fantasy land.

Agreed, 90 through town on Walnut is just stupid no other way to look at it. If it had been out on a highway or more isolated road it still would not have been smart but something a lot of guys with a fast car at his age might do.

Okay, just compare all of his seasons with what has come since and tell me why I am wrong.
I have been in a full on brawl with Navy seals vs the IU wrestling team in the middle of College at the same spot. Like 50 people.
I remember that age well, and remember how dumb me and all of my friends were. Lots of guys did insane shit in college. Going 90 is stupid, and yes I wish he didn't do it, but shit that is a Tuesday for me back then.
