Lots and lots of entitlement talk today. Seems odd that the people don't understand that this isn't the same program as when Knight was running the show. This is the program of Davis, Sampson, Dakich, Crean ,and now Miller. You'd think after 30 years that reality would begin to set in.

PU has a great team and you guys are focused on IU. Some things never change.

What will the banner say in the tin pig barn? "IU folded 2019"?

Hey, I like that tin pig barn. Just don't listen to Dakich, go for a walk, start a new hobby, volunteer somewhere, at this point it's just sticking needles in your eyes to listen.....

Dad went to Notre Dame, I wasn't getting in there, grew up in Indy......Was deciding between IU and Purdue based on majors etc. Went to a concert in Assembly Hall and didn't like the facility, decided to go to Purdue and never looked back. lol

Problems go beyond players and coaches.........so what is left, parents?? Well that wouldn't surprise me.

The only banners we kept in the pig barn were 4H ones, nothing IU related. Yes, I grew up on a hog farm and nothing wrong with that. Market went south and I went to school to do something else.

And of course we are focused on IU right now, that's our next opponent.

Come Wednesday, it will be time to get focused on Nebraska.

Now what was your point?

Huh... didn't realize New Kids on the Block had played Assembly Hall!

I'm guessing then that you decided not to go for
Law or Medicine or Business but instead threw the dice for "Hospitality and Tourism Management" with a minor in pig twigging.

While basketball areas in general are poor concert facilities, TAH with its acoustic tile side walls and ceiling combined with the soft (formerly fabric) seats is better than most. But with two other good sized music/theatre venues on campus with tremendous acoustics, not much need to use TAH.

I once saw the James Gang at the IU auditorium. I don't think I could possibly have heard all the subtleties of the James Gang's Funk 49 unless it was played at a beautifully-acoustic place like the IU Auditorium. Just guessing, but perhaps back then I could have heard every note of the James Gang equally well in Dunn Meadow. My auditory senses were greatly enhanced in those days.

In the somewhat bizarre category, I also saw one of the Ali/Frazier fights at the IU auditorium on a last-minute/general admission basis. We stood in line by the IU Auditorium's front doors for 2-3 hours to get in, followed by another 2-3 hours before the fight started (this is the one that went 15 rounds but Frazier broke Ali's jaw). One of the highlights of the pre-fight waiting period was a kid (about 10-12 years old) who threw a frisbee from the balcony that barely moved and barely dropped, barely traveled at all, just floating in slow motion almost all the way to the stage. He, of course, got an ovation and they chanted, "Kid. Kid. Kid." a bizillion times.

Sorry, but I can't remember the rest. I'm sure you understand.

Only areas left would be either parents, students/fans, or admin. Not sure Dakich is as clued in as he thinks he is. Helen Keller could see what the problems are....now the root cause? That's something we really don't now.....yet.

You'll have to wait for the book to find the inside scoop. But I bet it's some good stuff.

"Season in the Drink"
"Season on the Clink"
?

Something big is up in the locker room though.....Only thing that makes sense.

Jeez-Dakich. Every time he touched the ball on offense I shuddered. In the East Regional finals he managed to lose the game almost single handedly. Two terrible turnovers with five minutes left in the game and then with a minute and a half left IU up by one he for some reason turned his back on the defense and got stripped for an easy break away score.

My opinion was that he and Felling both conspired against RMK at the end. He was a terrible player and a terrible coach.

Good times. We were all fortunate to live in Btown,

I’d have Dakich on any team. He’s tough and hard headed. Who doesn’t make mistakes?
Remember when Romeo was stripped of the ball by the guy lying on the floor? Yeah, that was pretty weak, too.

Not sure, but it was interesting...I ventured over to GBI and it was as expected,

@arcb102000 a long term embittered IU obsessed troll was gleefully promoting the notion that there had been multiple post-game fights in the IU locker room and was speculating on who all was involved.

A person I and many others have been critical of..Noel Easter's Mom pretty much body slammed him for spreading rumors that she knew were untrue because she knew the kids that arcb10200 was defaming. Props to her for being objective when embittered adults take cheap shots at kids they have never met. I change my opinion of her,

You idiotic and pathetic little jester to the lowest duke in the realm! I have seen you on gold and black many times spewing nonsense and hatred. You, along with your school, are a cesspool of pusillanimity and weakness. However, since you are a milksop, you will stay far from the gold and black boards until IU does something of relevance. Luckily, we still know you as a fraud, liar, and BUFFOON on the board!

Lol, the grammar alone is enough to make one sick. Haven't posted on your cesspool for three years, but please...entertain us with you embittered jealousy.

If you look at the coaches of the last 30 years the best COACH is Sampson....probably not the cleanest, but the guy can coach

Yep, she was defending Justin Smith, just like IU fans do.

C’mon, everybody knows you post on our site as Love4beer. Our mods outed you some time ago, even before you used that handle here.. Where are your seats tomorrow? We’re bringing a big crowd to chant.

Love4beer Sucks!

I think Bob Knight's record is, obviously, still part of the program, as are Branch and Dean.

I decided against "Fashion Design", "Gender Studies" (?) or "Tourism and Hospitality and Event Mgt" at IU and went with engineering ;)

But I did audit a class in pig twigging, it's not for everyone.

At least neither school has the high quality academic classes North Carolina does.

I have several fine engineers from PU that work for me...
