Let the Hall sit empty. That will send the message

Yes it will but this is a year where the big ten is so even that Indiana could finish last place. Michigan and Rutgers are 2-5 we already lost to Rutgers I dont know if Woody can come back if we finish last in big ten.

He will be back if he wants his buddy quinn won't let him be fired. But next year would be beyond toxic

I don't want Queen he can't shoot and he will clog up the lane with Reneau. The best thing that can happen is Indiana keep Mgbako put him at the 4 Reneau at the 5 then McNeeley at the 3 then go get mutiple guards who can shoot in the portal.
Agree, Queen will insure we continue to play inside out and get thumped by every other coach that has moved into the current decade.

one way we can cure this after the end of the season. Its also why Queen was smart enough to keep his recruitment open and Houston on the side.
IU doesn't need players who think they are too good for the signing period. Go get some no nonsense guys who want to be in Bloomington for 4 years and who want to play for Indiana University.

I had a bad feeling with the XJ returning news came out this summer. For Woodson to look at this team and not see serious roster construction issues...and to think XJ ISN'T a player just good enough to get you fired....

Mike seems to have taken a year off from work. Basic things like D and O fundamentals that simply take repitition/practice are lacking. There is no personality on the team. No leadership. And, obviously, zero shooters. Pretty easy to defend IU.

Recruiting isn't sizzling and I'm not even sure Mike is "out there" enough to make it happen. I think the NIL changes have him in an NBA frame of mind, from a program building perspective.

Last in the BT would be a bottoming out that shouldn't be tolerated in Year 3.

And, can shoot from beyond the 3 point line

Valid concerns... if they're true. Seems like a lot of conjecture. Last in the B10? We're currently tied for 5th at 4-4, so that would be a freefall, and could definitely start the inertia to lose CMW his job. I think that's highly unlikely and he's going to be back next year.

Yep, that's a good message: "when times get a little tough, quit!" Show up and cheer your team. Not like they've lost 13 in a row.
In MWs first year we had a few losing steaks that were stopped by the team showing some heart and resiliency. Those traits lacked in the losing 12 of 13 period, coach miller had to have lost that team.

The team this year is a different group. I’m interested in seeing how they respond. Does this team show the same resilience and heart that we saw a couple of years ago? Or, do they fold up their tents? The league isn’t that great, it’s fairly early and we are right in the mix of things. But, is this a group that is together? Is it a group that cares (about winning games in the conference)? How invested is Woody, and does the team buy in to it? These are the things I’m interested in finding out,

AH may get a little sparse, but IU fans can’t help but go.

I suspect the big donors behind the scenes holding back $ is the bigger driver of change.

This year may get really bad without TJD to pull us out of slumps. And with the portal things can spiral quickly if players want to jump ship. What a mess.

Attendance has been amazingly high given the dog crap we are looking at. IU fans are different.

This is all about winning the B1G and getting a high seed into the Tourney isn’t it? Isn’t that why we do this thing here?

That wonderful 4-4 record has us 13th (out of 14) in the B1G in both the NET and KP rankings. So, yes in the real world we are flirting with last place in the B1G, just above #14 Penn St.

Speaking of that 4-4 record, what’s your prediction for the next 12 games?

No, in the "real world" we are tied for 5th in conference. Yes, there are signs of things to be concerned about (see your post). That's for our coaching staff and AD to deal with and us to discuss. We are fans, and we should be supporting our team, even while discussing these concerns. If you want to be a chicken little and project we'll wind up last in the B10, be my guest.

This team hasn't looked good and I've expressed my concerns about the team and our Coach. Frankly, with what I see, I don't believe CMW is the right guy, but he's also been able to rally teams from bad stretches in his 2 prior years. No better team to do that against than IL Saturday. I have no idea how the rest of the season plays out, but I've been saying since before Rutgers the only chance I thought this team had of making the tourney was to hit on a formula and rotation that works in the 2nd half of the season and win the B10 tournament. Looks less likely, but that to me still appears to be our only path. But, I know even with concerns, I'm going to be cheering for us to win every game and I think not showing up at this juncture is totally uncalled for and not a Hoosier thing to do or suggest.

Queen doesn't really add much he plays the same position as Malik and it old just be more 1980's nba ball. We need shoters.

No, the real world is the NCAA Selection Committee and the tools they use for tournament team entries and seeds. And, in that vein - we are not looking good.

Chicken little, really?

I'm not "projecting" anything. I just posted exactly where we are - #13. If you don't like that, I understand - I don't either.

Never said anything about 'not showing up'. To each his own, but 'hit on a formula and rotation that works in the 2nd half of the season'....where is that going to come from??

Just curious, are you a season ticket holder? Most of them, if they don't go themselves, seem to sell the seats for the game they're not attending.

Some rumors I read in ware may not even come back this year now. Heal his injury then get ready for the nba.

I told you I thought we were cooked as far as an at-large bid 2 weeks ago: before Rutgers, and then NB and WI, so I recognize where we are and that it's bleak. But we are 5th in the conference, and that's what everyone goes by and how the conference success is measured. Quick, without looking, where did we finish in the B10 last year? Kenpom? I know we finished tied for 2nd, no idea on Kenpom. It's an analytic, there is no award for where you finish in Kenpom.

Saying we might finish last in the conference (see UTFO's comment) is projecting, and I believe he was talking about actual conference standings.

The thread started with saying don't show up. I was making general comments, not replying to each individually... don't have time for that.

How would a turnaround happen? Starts with coaching. I've listed how I'd try and do it, but ultimately it's up to our coaches and players and I think there is the talent on this team to have a good finish. MSU was playing bad and then flipped a switch and looked like a top 5 team dismantling Baylor. If he can get the energy and effort level up, this team could go on a run.

Other than the PU game, we are getting nothing for our tickets. We ate the OSU tickets and sold the Minnesota tickets for less than face value.

I see that on ticket reseller sites. I think right now, it has people who might normally think a game is cost prohibitive snatching up bargain prices.

Fans are far from apathetic. They are pissed off bigly.

I think you are right. A couple years ago I can't imagine anyone being pissed at Woodson.

But between the on court product, overall reaction after the game (mix of arrogance and ineptitude), and lazy approach to in-state recruiting the level of frustration is increasing.

Have been traveling so just seeing your post. By your use of "we" I assume that you are a fellow season ticket holder who can back up your talk with action. So, I'm curious where your seats are so that I can watch them from my seats to make sure that they sit empty for the remainder of the season. Based on your post that will be the case because you won't go or sell them so your statement is made.
As for me. I'll be there as always pulling for my Alma mater come thick or thin. IU basketball and football are in my DNA.
Signed - a proud member of the "party of the problem " club.
Go Hoosiers!!!!
