At this point, I honestly think he's just really, really bad at teaching/implementing these things. You can tell they're trying different things, especially offensively. But the ball dies, waaayyyy too much. My best educated guess is with the defense being as poor as it is, that in practice they're pretty effective with getting good looks with the various offensive stuff we run, within a couple passes. So there aren't a lot of teaching moments naturally available for the offensive side. So when opponents in games do take away some things, they really aren't equipped to keep the ball movement going...and it degrades down to ISO ball, long jumpers off the dribble, late shot clock attempts, etc...
And then...since its the same issues we've seen defensively since he arrived, whatever he's doing or working on, on that side of the ball, isn't very effective.
Because of these issues, and their persistence with all his teams...I have zero faith he'll be able to adequately fix it this year. Honestly, I think we'll end up a bubble team again this year.
