There's only one thread that I actively moderate, and you're still allowed to post there. Why do you think that is? Could it possibly be because you post like a mature adult and add value to the conversation?
Overall, I delete almost nothing. Mark deletes very little. He's a little more gung-ho than I am about cleaning up the insult fest (and more power to him). If you have a rash of posts missing, I'd point my finger at supposedly compromised stoll.
Or, more likely, you don't have a lot of posts missing. In fact, I'd bet the ratio of "I bet this post gets deleted" to posts actually getting deleted is something like 100-to-1.

I blocked Dan from a productive thread he was doing his darnedest to trash and have deleted a number of his posts. I've also deleted a number of posts from other posters across the political spectrum. I don't recall deleting a thread he started but won't swear I didn't.
Regardless, I've done my best to stick to the criteria I outlined a few months back when I was given the hammer. Dan seems to think he gets picked on more than anyone else. I get DMs from people telling me I don't pick on him enough. I must be doing something right.
And yes, if I could ban him from just this forum without it banning him site wide, I would.

DANC, mods can still see posts even after they've been deleted. That's what it means to say that another mod has access to our "deletion history." Stoll can see everything Mark has ever deleted and Mark can see everything stoll has ever deleted. If either of them care to look for it. Which I doubt they do, because the only one with a woody over this topic is you.
