I haven’t been on the site for a while. What happened? I though we had Catchings locked up?
Were you the one saying he was a lock for us?Catchings won’t end up at Purdue. He’s gone. Overtime Elite will steer him elsewhere
If by "we" you mean IU, I don't think we really ever thought we had him.I haven’t been on the site for a while. What happened? I though we had Catchings locked up?
He gone LOLIf by "we" you mean IU, I don't think we really ever thought we had him.
He can't be gone if he was never ours. It would be.like me saying I lost Kathy Ireland back in the day.He gone LOL
Derp ...He can't be gone if he was never ours. It would be.like me saying I lost Kathy Ireland back in the day.
Well, he gone from PUke, then.He can't be gone if he was never ours. It would be.like me saying I lost Kathy Ireland back in the day.

Dumb.Yea, that probably didn't need to be explained ... except to the slower less attentive people on the board.
Kanon catchings is going to purdue I don't see the long man leaving purdue with him and myles Colvin playing together
Jaden Ivey says hello. He is presently on a much more than 10-day contract.Unfortunately for us, his primary goal is to get into the League. It will be only months after leaving Brownsburg when he’ll make a move. Leaving his mom’s house, he’ll take his recruitment over while away. With CMP unable to get players in the league to stay for more than a 10 day contract will be the downfall in this recruitment. With the drama in April before his decision to leave his HS team is our first clue that he’s not truly interested in going to PU. He wants to show his skill on a bigger stage and his recruitment will open up with it. If he is good enough, he may go from OTE to the draft, and never play in college. So CMP chances of keeping him is about 25%.
Biggie, Hammond, Haas, Carson Edwards just to name a few says hello and GFO. 1 player currently in the League in 18+ years. That’s a great stat if you are the coach at Ball State.Jaden Ivey says hello. He is presently on a much more than 10-day contract.
The fact remains that your post is obviously incorrect regarding nobody receiving more than a 10-day contract. Instead of getting angry with me, perhaps you should articulate your posts better.Biggie, Hammond, Haas, Carson Edwards just to name a few says hello and GFO. 1 player currently in the League in 18+ years. The fact remains that my post states “players” not “player”, meaning more than one. E. Moore, Robbie Hummel and Jujuan Johnson also played in the NBA for more than on 10-day contracts. I think that qualifies as more than one.
I get that you do not like Painter as a coach. That is your opinion. However, your statement is simply wrong on the facts.
Etwaun Moores contract with New Orleans was $34 Million in 2016, that's alot of coffee!I get it. You are a basketball simpleton, and want to make excuses and change goal posts for CMP. Facts, he currently has 1 player in the league. You name 2 guys who had a cup of coffee in the league and 1 who was a nice role player but long gone. Again, keeping making excuses. CMP has 1 player in the league and we will be at 50 years without a F4 in a 7 years. It will be 25 years and no F4 with CMP, and guys like you will still cherry pick stats and make excuses for his failures. Just like he’s failed to get talented player’s into the league and stay consistently. I get you, you are defensive because deep down you know Matt will never get PU over that F4 hump.

Johnson played 36 games in the NBA. Hummel played 98. Those are very long coffee breaks.I get it. You are a basketball simpleton, and want to make excuses and change goal posts for CMP. I am not making any excuses about anything. I am simply pointing out that you were factually in error.
That may be your definition of a "coffee break" in the NBA. However, not is not a standard definition of the term. For the record, a regular NBA season is 82 games. Thus, Hummel's 98 is 1 1/4 regular seasons. Your definition is far from standard.36 in a 82 games season is below the very definition of a coffee break. That’s not even 1/2 a season, fail on my part missing that the first time. He did not even qualify for a cup of Joe.
98 games is the avg coffee break in the nba. I forgot I’m dealing with a simpleton.

if you said 5-12 games, I would agree with you. But almost 1/2 a season is not a coffee break either.
You spelled Dunning Krueger wrong.^^ Helm's Logic
If they expand the tournament we can all look forward to Purdue getting beat by a 32 seed.FDU was a #17 seed.
Wouldn’t it be a 34 seed? 😉If they expand the tournament we can all look forward to Purdue getting beat by a 32 seed.
Why are you babbling about PU players from 15 years ago? Painter has had like 1 1st round pick in 20 years, and he couldn't beat mid-majors with him: neat, I guess?36 games is essentially 1/2 of a regular season. I do not know where you have worked. However, if you went for a "coffee break" and were gone for half of the working day, I suspect that your superior might take notice and disagree with that position. If it was 1 full day and part of the next, even more notice would be taken of that "break." Perhaps we have just worked in different places.
Don't bring Keady players into a pork chop civil war please. It shocked me, but Brian Cardinal spent 12 years in the league and made $60M.
Best dumpster diver, ever.Painter quit recruiting pro type players after the Ronnie Johnson years and went in a completely different direction. His philosophy of "get old and stay old" doesn't lend to having too many League guys on his roster. But I will say he's done a pretty decent job with the under-recruited talent he's brought on. I've had the opportunity to make an acquaintance with a former IU head coach through work related business. While I couldn't stand him while he was a coach, he's an awesome guy that I can't help but like. He speaks the world of Painter and his program.
Your comment is really interesting. You accuse me, incorrectly, of not working. Note that my initial comment was made on a Sunday, That is a day that I do not work. Your comment is also ironic and hypocritical because if you look at the page above this post as I write this you have only two fewer posts than mine (4 vs. 6.) So what does that say about you? You also do not read carefully as Courtsense's post implies that I had not been posting ("Look who's back...") so there seems to be a contradiction,Why are you babbling about PU players from 15 years ago? You don't work anywhere. You spend way too much time on here to be working anywhere full time. You also have way too big of an inferiority complex. You come in here and try to be the smartest guy in the room and first in line for recess.

Your comment about "..players from 15 years ago.." is also incorrect. WLPU's posts stated multiple players for Painter were not in the NBA. I pointed out three others that played for more than his "cup of coffee" using normal language. Factually wrong is factually wrong and it took all of about 2 seconds to remember the others. As was also pointed out, Moore was playing two years ago so that hardly qualifies as ancient history.
As for your comment about trying to be the smartest guy in the room - also very incorrect. First of all, you are a one-trick-pony in your posting. It's time to insert Painter lost to a double-digit seed meme which occupies a high percentage in your postings. I am smart, but I know and have met people a lot smarter than me. However, you are not included in that company based upon what you post here.
