So this show must have been produced by right wingers?

I see a sex offender touching a little girl, so...

Since CNN stock is worth over $100 per share, they are a pretty shrewd band of hardcore leftists.
I do not care what it is worth they have horrible viewership numbers the worst of the three major networks in prime time. MSNBC and and Fox destroy them each night. They really do not know what to do without Trump. They built their whole brand on 24/7 Trump bashing. I am sure you loved it but without Trump all they can talk about is 01/06 which most people do not care about except far left wingers.

The more important points are: 1) CNN stock is not an independently traded asset and 2) share price implies nothing about value

Question for attorneys on here. Can a defense attorney knowingly allow his/her clients to lie on the witness stand?

Why would you ask. When my clients said they were continuing to experience pain and discomfort I just assumed they were lying

I think the operative word here is "knowingly." There's a difference between a client telling his attorney, "I'm fixing to lie about this," and a client telling whoppers that the attorney probably suspects are rubbish, but he doesn't "know" are lies. Or at least he could reasonably claim not to know.

This of course is different from actually coaching a client to lie which would be suborning perjury. I think you can be disbarred for that.

Caveat: Not a lawyer.

I heard it was 57 chiro treatments, massages, hot packs, cold packs, TENS units, acupuncture......
Yes - but after waiting six months to seek treatment.

Sir could you please state your name for the record.
Doctor Anthony Smith.
Okay Mr. Smith have you ever had your deposition taken before.
It's doctor Smith.
Okay, well we can get to that later. But it was my understanding you are a chiropractor.
Yes. That's correct.
Okay, perfect. Now Mr. Smith, have you ever had your deposition taken before

The answer is yes, of course. However, not without severe consequences if caught. Look up suborning perjury. It is a crime and probably would also result in also being disbarred.

My understanding of suborning perjury suggests that the attorney would need to actively coach or instruct the witness in a way that encourages a false statement. That's different than the witness simply lying ("I was nowhere near that walgreens") on his own, whether or not the attorney actually believes him. If an attorney could be disbarred every time one of their witnesses or clients lied under oath, there would be no lawyers left.

No that this would be a bad thing.

In Texas, I was taught that If an attorney knows his client will lie on the stand, he must warn the client of the consequences and withdraw from the case. In that scenario, the client would indicate to the attorney that he intends to tell a lie. If the client gets on the stand and lies without telling the attorney of his intention to do so, the attorney is not suborning perjury, but if the attorney knows the client lied (because of what the client told him), he must also withdraw from the case. If a client lies to you and testifies accordingly, it would not be suborning perjury. Coaching a client to lie is, without question, suborning perjury.

Years ago, I was standing next to a Court Trial Coordinator watching a witness testify in a divorce case. As she listened, she muttered under her breath, "I don't know why they even bother to swear them in."

Yep, it is similar to why Republicans have started winning elections. Normal people are afraid if a Republican loses conservatives will riot and attack the capitol.

I do not know why it has not been labelled a hate crime. Is there evidence he targeted Whites and not Blacks along the route?
Their blood in the street is evidence enough for normal people.

But I know libturds support a tiered system of justice.

Lol CNN is a joke. These people are all actors doing a great injustice to society. They aren't journalists. Have you seen the emails between Tucker Carlson and Hunter Biden? They are buddies.

Mainstream media is fiction
I’d normally say CNN is engaged in peaceful treason, but it requires intent and they aren‘t smart enough.

Shame that this trial is not televised. It would provide some nice levity in comparison to the other more recent high profile court cases.

I can’t imagine Smollett’s testimony endearing him to the jury to the point where he will ‘get off’

I’m a marked man. That psychopath Cavanagh has been hot on my trail ever since I made fun of him for being a guy in his mid 30’s who brags about smoking weed and following around basketball players.
Who would have thought that short, overcompensating tool would have such thin skin?

The trial that seems to be totally hush-hush is the Ghislaine Maxwell trial.

There ought to be lots of juicy stuff about people named Clinton and Trump banging away at teens. But no coverage, that I have seen.

Thank you. I'd like some support against the asshole calling me a racist for no reason right now.
C'mon goat why does that bother you... you've called me a liar more than once when I wrote an honest post and you didn't like it, You've called other people liars with nothing to back it up.

Because this particular asshole has in the past considered being called a racist unfairly to be one of the gravest possible insults. He got so mad at me for saying something that he thought implied he was a racist, he complained about it constantly. Despite the fact I didn't call him a racist, he was clearly offended, so the mere fact my words could possibly have been interpreted that way led me to give him an honest, heartfelt, public apology.

And now he doesn't merely imply I am a racist; he explicitly says so and imputes false racist beliefs onto me. He is a hypocrite and a coward.

I’m new around here, but I find you to be racist.

It could be worse. His go-to is to call people Nazis.
