I believe the actual riot was just the culmination, not even that just a by-product of nefarious, premeditated behavior by political leaders.

The hearing was far more interesting than I thought it was going to be. The most damning thing was that the Proud Boys went to the Capitol to do reconnaissance rather than listening to Trump's speech. And then Trump gave his pre-insurrection pep talk and sent the lemmings over to the Capitol and the Proud Boys after he had worked up the crowd. It reminded me of the Wicked Witch of the West sending out the flying monkeys.

The only issue i take here is that IMO the left wing leadership could have done much more to "control" the summer rioting. Instead the enabled it.

The biggest part of the planning about this was the democrats planned part of the election and what they did to it. I'm leaving the actual events of election day out of it but they had plans that caused this from the start of the election year including the summer of love.
And fight like hell or you won't have any country left.

You don't like the protests/ rioting? Neither did I but it was 100% justified.

I hated the rioting and looting.....but again, cases like Floyd, Castille, Taylor, Garner, etc. Folks had enough of it.

I don’t think the rioting at the Capital was okay. I think those that rioted should be prosecuted. IT WAS NOT A SERIOUS ATTEMPT TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT.
I feel terrible for the people who were affected, but again.....THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN THE PUBLIC GETS RIGHTFULLY ANGRY AND AREN'T BEING HEARD.

Look up Daniel Shaver. There are others. This has been argued to death. There are 800,000 cops. Some dumb. Some bad. Some evil. When you look at the number of annual contacts and blacks violent crime rates there was zero justification for the summer of love
Shaver wasn't in custody. He wasn't handcuffed and restrained in anyway.
He was unarmed but he wasn't in police custody.
And Floyd wasn't shot. Again cops F up. Some are evil. Where was the rioting over Shaver

Let's make this simple. You posted that the summer of love riots were justified, paraphrasing, based on cops treatment of blacks. Systemic racism. The figures don't support that during the salient time period leading up to the riots. Your premise is wrong. They were not justified. They were stoked by media and Dems. Their election not to shut them down was tacit approval. It led to billions in damages, livelihoods lost, over 2,000 cops being injured, and the Defund the Police charade that we're still feeling the consequences of today.
