A pulse?

Sorry, I'm not buying the "Biden has dementia" horseshit. Nobody with a working brain does.

If you think somehow Trump would be doing a better job than Biden has been doing, you're a comedian.

I gotta say, I almost hope Trump runs and wins in 2024 (emphasis on "almost") because that clown show will be one entertaining cluster after another.
Hard to do any worse. We're setting records all over the place under Biden

Then you’ll buy anything. I’m not saying he has dementia but he’s on the decline. We can do better than Biden and Trump..or Bernie and Hillary.

Those pesky facts again.

Thankfully the rest of the country isn't as insane as you clearly are.

Well i was lucky enough to see only the video as it was just beginning when I turned on my TV to watch the UT softball game. I guess ABC was the last channel watched from the Celtic game. After the video, wasn't sticking around to watch a bunch of elitist power hungray @holes conduct their farce of a witchhunt. I liked how they flash to trump making a comment in the middle of the event. With these kind of people in government it's no wonder there was an uprising.

Maybe tonight I'll watch Life of Brian. They use real logic to get their witch not some preplanned agenda built out of hate driven by the Democratic Party that incited the response in the first place.

In one case, the anger was justified.

When people are angry, bad stuff is going to happen. You don't have to like it. I don't have to like it..

I never said the rioting was justified, but the anger behind it sure as hell was.

In the other case, the anger was created by a wig wearing, obese, orange con artist piece of shit.

Because he lost.

Looting businesses and burning them down was justified? You’re actually serious. Too bad these righteous thieves, arsonists and thugs didn’t burn down your house.
You bet your ass it's justified.

Whether you like it or not. That anger is justified.

You aren't hearing about black folks being murdered quite as often in police custody anymore, huh?

If you see more George Floyd type situations, you're gonna see more rioting. People have had enough.

Again, whether you like it or not.

In fact he did say the riots were justified despite denying it.

I was talking about the "anger" being justified and clarified that just one line after what you highlighted.

Nice try though!

The reason you aren’t seeing or hearing it is because the narrative is no longer needed. One search will tell you the harsh reality is you got used. CNN, Fox, MSNBC and our elected officials got their money. Did you?

You might try to edit that then because it is clear that you thought the riots were justified. Very clear
Nah, I'm good.

As I stated, I clarified it one line after what you highlighted.

Nobody likes rioting, looting or destruction but I'm not at all surprised it took place.

Those pesky facts again.
It's silly to think that inflation would not have been high, post the terrible response to the pandemic, whomever the POTUS is. It is high WORLDWIDE, and is actually moderate in the USA compared to other countries.

You also ignore market forces. For instance, another pesky fact: in Nixon's first term, inflation was at 3-4%. In his second term it rose above 11%. Your conclusion would be that second term Nixon really sucked, and if only that guy '69-'72 Nixon guy had been re-elected, inflation would have stayed at 3-4%. Dumb. Almost... DANC-dumb.

I said the anger was justified.
You also said the rioting was justified and then denied it twice.
The summer of love, as you call it, was a reaction to unarmed black folks continuously dying at the hands of police, usually while in custody.

You don't like the protests/ rioting? Neither did I but it was 100% justified.

Jan. 6th was all about a criminal con artist convincing a bunch of mouth breathing hillbillies to try and overthrow Democracy as we know it. A planned insurrection.
You were smart enough not to bet me.

Apology accepted

I lied. I watched a little bit. Pretty clear that the Proud Boys and Oath Keeper leaders should be going to jail. Its possible that some of Trumps "consultants" should receive some sort of punishment.

Trump? I don't think he intentionally was involved in any of it. I think he was just too stupid and narcissistic to see what was happening. Still won't admit that he was duped. Because... Well because he is a moron and a narcissist.

* I am strictly talking about the Jan. 6 riot. The other shit. Like calling the Georgia SoS and demanding he find votes to help him win. That's ****ed. And on tape. Slam dunk on that shit.

"The US has been grappling with rising prices since last year, when an unexpectedly strong economic rebound from the shock of the pandemic - driven by large doses of US government spending, including direct cheques to households - overwhelmed supplies, prompting companies to raise prices.
Now the war in Ukraine has spread the problem around the world, with Covid related shutdowns in China this spring contributing."

It's well documented gov free cheese increased our inflation.

I’ll agree with this. A lot of things that happen/happened have been on both Trump, Biden and Covid. The supply chain stuff is unavoidable. It shows how efficient those supply chains have gotten. One disruption and shit hits the fan. This last spike is definitely on Biden. He’s deflecting now. His response hasn’t been great and where the F is the Vice President?

Trump spent like crazy and then Biden took us to a new level. Question? Who is the third stooge?

In 2002 or 1992, would this have been a big deal? Accountability is a pretty big issue for me and most likely most of you - Dem or Repub.

The biggest problem I see is that no one will be held accountable. That’s a problem and that’s a way to hold our shit elected officials to some standards, even outside of this real nonsense.
The U.S. institution of democracy, how a leader is supposed to behave in defeat, and arguments backed by logical, factual evidence are all extremely important, and I agree that the lack of accountability is troubling to the point where it cannot be put into words. Trump and his cronies should be exiled: they have lost their American privileges as far as I'm concerned, and anybody connected shouldn't be allowed to run for dog catcher.

Don't talk about lack of accountability unless you're ok with jailing Hillary, Clapper, and Comey.

Trump spent like crazy, and the worst was the two trillion dollar trickle down tax cut.

Biden spends like crazy too, far too much for my taste, though less than a progressive would have, and arguably (other than the much-needed infrastucture upgrades) even less than Trump did. Though the enormous pandemic spending under both kind of dominates everything and makes it hard to compare.

free cheese for sure. Trump and Biden did that.

What about exxon and the like posting 300% profits in some cases. How does that factor? Profits. Not sales. Profits.

I think they already know they are on their way out, and it can't come fast enough.

Oil companies are gouging at this point. I think one of them needs to be boycotted, fined, shunned, etc. to send the message.

Men only do what they are allowed to do.

Spot on.

Given that oil prices per barrel are 40% lower than they have been at times in the past, whereas the product (gas) is 30% HIGHER than it was back when oil prices per barrel were at their highest,

the money is going SOMEWHERE and it's coming from the pockets of the consumer.

Gas is a product not a resource. Gas isn’t always mirroring oil. It’s more complicated relationship than that.

I realize that and I even called gas a product of oil (the resource). The general trend over decades has been some positive correlation, though. If the price of steel goes up, the price of steel-built materials generally goes up, for example. It's not 1:1, of course. But when there's an inverse correlation you do have to wonder why. The money is going somewhere. Whose pockets are getting fat?

I'm not a savvy investor by any means, but oil stocks were beat up when the pandemic started, and they are near their high marks now.
