When they hit the exact floor, instead of leveling the entire building..... There is a message being sent.
Totally the FIND OUT part of fvcking around. I love it.
This is great to see, hopefully illuminating for many.
The great thing about this nation, they have a right to have an opinion.
I’m sure rainbow flags are an eyesore. The humanity!!!Stand next to a lesbians every morning. They don't push the sh!t, they don't have pride flags up during pride (MONTH???) whatever, they keep it to themselves. I've helped them plenty with stuff they need and its their decision. Now the neighborhood over there is a couple that have flags throughout the lawn and other crap it looks like an eyesore in a nice neighborhood. I'm sure the neighbors their are not down with that. I'm not flying my straight flag...WTF
I heard the Palestinian flag in front of Rashida Tlaib’s office took the Pride flag up to the top of the Capitol and threw it off.I’m sure rainbow flags are an eyesore. The humanity!!!
They don't match the tans, brown, whites, and other colors in the area? Looks like a candy land property.I’m sure rainbow flags are an eyesore. The humanity!!!
I agree, but if you look at just how many people were protesting, even on Saturday and Sunday, it was many thousands across the country. Think about that for a minute.
You are always so forgiving and understanding for almost everything that is wrong. Have you ever thought of becoming a Monk? Understanding balance of all things. Marvin the Sweden. I don't know how you stay so neutral on all things except one topic.I don't know, you could probably get several thousand across the country to turn out for any issue. Hold a day of rallies to nuke China, several thousand would show up. Heck, hold rallies to release smallpox and several thousand would show up. It doesn't surprise.
Some of the Palestinian supporters are as crazy as you think, some are genuinely concerned about friends and family. If I was here from Gaza studying and my family was there, I would go to a rally to show support for them. I get a certain percentage are more than that, just saying that several thousand number includes both.
If you let people have the freedom to make their own choice, a percentage will make the absolute worst choice.
Now, direct calls for violence worry me, so yes, any calls condoning or endorsing the attack on Israel to me is outside the free speech question. Bur also some of the comments here not differentiating killing Gaza civilians and children from Hamas worry me too. But any calls to destroy Israel should run afoul of hate speech code of conduct.
By all means, capture, kill, maim everyone involved or planned or endorsed, or even knew and didn't try to stop it. But be as surgical as possible knowing it will not ever be 100% precise.
But America has a large population and a small percentage of a large number still means a decent number hold disgusting views.
Proof that they have won, their message spread fear.Hopefully nothing goes down tomorrow during the "Day of Jihad". Local Jewish orgs are beefing up security tomorrow, and some Jewish schools in NYC are closing.
Looks like free speech is back to being alive and well at our university. I whole heartedly disagree with these pro Hamas students. Hamas are cowards and hopefully Israel neuters them quick. Iran better be watching. Same with the rest of the mid east. F around and find out. However maybe the "safe spaces" our coming down. Universities are where these debates should be happening but lately we've all become pussies.
You ok?I’m sure rainbow flags are an eyesore. The humanity!!!
If that really does happen, all bets are off. I don't support taking a swing at anyone right now. If there is an outbreak of terrorism tomorrow my opinion on that will change. I will want to hit Iran. Ultimately these are their dogs, if they let them off the leash, the dog handler needs punched in the mouth. Hard.Hopefully nothing goes down tomorrow during the "Day of Jihad". Local Jewish orgs are beefing up security tomorrow, and some Jewish schools in NYC are closing.

No. These are the same students that will chase Ben Shapiro off campus because they believe “words are violence” or pressure the administration to block conservative speakers for the same reason.Looks like free speech is back to being alive and well at our university. The problem is that many of the rallies we are seeing are at elite institutions of higher learning--Harvard, Columbia, etc. You could not get them to hold rallies for those other issues you list.I don't know, you could probably get several thousand across the country to turn out for any issue. No here's what's sad. These "higher institutions" are creating indoctrinated not educated people. Look at who sponsors and donates to all these places, China. Wtf. Look at these ivy league schools. They are trying to change our republic for what it is. It sickens me. Jeezuz you know how we got here. Sports, TV, movies, entertainment, etc. Etc. They have snuck in while we've all been entertained. Think about when you went to school, did they push ideals in your head or educate you about your future position? The problem is that many of the rallies we are seeing are at elite institutions of higher learning--Harvard, Columbia, etc. You could not get them to hold rallies for those other issues you list.
I think that's a big difference. Slack-jawed yokels and conspiracy nuts who live in their parents' basements aren't as dangerous as "high-minded" elites--they aren't going to have access to levers of power in the future.
I was reading today that 10% of France’s (after seeing rallies supporting Palestine) population are Muslims. Western nations would be wise to stop allowing immigrants from Islamic nations. Their views and cultures don’t align well with western values and cultures. Reality is Christianity and the West is superior and it’s not a bad thing to recognize it.If you ask most, they blame it on Trumpers and right wingers. There is still risk with that group (see Pittsburgh), but this group is far more concerning.

Except for a 20 year old guy? Not sure I’ve seen a lot of difference TBH.And you know that these are the same feministas that need safe spaces, actively shut down any conservative guest speakers in classrooms, and constantly insist that 'words are violence'. Nevermind actual violence.
Nothing more unhinged from reality than a 20 year old girl.

@UncleMark
Fair point, let me offer a couple points to lesson the fear. First, UNC was one school shown. 2 other universities are within spitting distance. UNC is 30,000 students and a couple thousand faculty and staff. If all attendees are UNC only, that is 300 out of the 34000 or so faculty and students. And again, at least a few were there to show concern for the non-Hamas non-combatants. As an example, my own prayers have included the non-combatants in Gaza along with the people of Israel and any others who lost family and friends. The problem is that many of the rallies we are seeing are at elite institutions of higher learning--Harvard, Columbia, etc. You could not get them to hold rallies for those other issues you list.

I agree 20 year old guys are just as dumb, however, I think they tend to channel that stupidity in different ways.Except for a 20 year old guy? Not sure I’ve seen a lot of difference TBH.
For what it's worth, Whitten released a follow up statement that was received quite a bit better by alumni I saw responding to it on an official IU Facebook page.Fair point, let me offer a couple points to lesson the fear. Second, college is a time of rebellion. Hell, I did stupid things (goes without saying, right).
Lastly, college has a higher number of international students. I am guessing, without looking up data, Bloomington has a higher percentage of international guests from Muslim countries, and from China and Russia, than most Indiana cities. I suspect that would hold true at Cambridge too where I imagine Harvard and MIT combined have a few well-heeled Saudi students who have an anti-Israeli reflex. As noted by others, I doubt Egyptian students would turn out for anything Hamas, but other nationalities might.
Lastly, at least a few are trolling. I have often said the far left and far right are mirror images. The far left has no more clean hands than the right on things like trolling. Showing up to such a rally is bound to annoy the "slack-jawed yokels".
That all said, some are American students who are flat out wrong headed. Can't deny that at all. Wealth doesn't render people immune from stupidity.
What goes around comes aroundThis is great to see, hopefully illuminating for many.
Send your kid to a state school, preferably in the south.

U.S. will start charter flights for Americans stuck in Israel
The government "is still working out details" of how many flights will take place and what their destinations will be, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said.www.politico.com
I am not sure why they are hiding. Are they actually embarrassed? I doubt it.The great thing about this nation, they have a right to have an opinion.
Now, publicize their names so that they can own that decision, which is another right in this country. Own what you sow.
