Just spit-balling here (because that is what ALL of this is) but what are your feelings about Rick Pitino as a candidate? He is older but sure seems to act young at heart. He needs redemption in a bad way. He is part of the way there with the St. Johns' gig. The media and most basketball people seem to have mostly forgiven him. Get 5 dynamic years out of him, maybe a championship or two, which sets the program up RIGHT for a more experienced Dusty May, or whomever is the next Dusty May at that point????

Pass. Age is big issue there! He’s lookn like the old Star Wars character…

Much better than some I've heard mentioned.

Pitino can definitely coach. No complaint there.

I've never felt he was a good fit for IU, and he is on his last stint it would seem now. It would be difficult for Dolson to try to explain why he would hire a guy with over 37 years already. If they want to go old, just get Jay Wright.

Would have been last good timing had it been 2021 instead of Woodson.

Pitino? What a horrible thought. Damn there are, Italian restaurants, in Bloomington too. No damn way.
If every person that talked shit for Rick banging a girl on a table in a restaurant had the same opportunity….. things would be very different. But 99% of the people that think that is classes have never even been able to dream of the smoke show the Ricky P was able to pull.

People pissed that he lived their fantasy.

How about Richard Pitino. Only 42 years old. Had ups and downs when he was at Minnesota but he was really young when he had that job. Has done well at New Mexico and has a really good team this season. He is someone they should at least take a look at.

He needs to stay right where he is at. New Mexico is basketball crazy, great fans.. He could stay there rest of his career and do very well.
