McCollum

Based on one game? If that was the case why didn't he get hired but iu? You may as well say dolson was wrong also. Tell me why dolson didn't hire him.
You quoted me before I deleted that line. I decided that was too weak.

But sure seemed like you were all in on basing everything on tonights game... Then you say it's me doing that? LOL But he won, so you had your alternate tack ready.

No beef with you but you can't have it all ways.

I’m calling BS bailey. YOU were the one that mentioned tonight’s game, despite everything else that was placed before you.

Just man up and eat it!

I did and he had a good win. But that doesn't mean I think iu should have hired him. I still don't.

I cannot wait to watch McCullom tonight. After all I have read about the glowing praise of him on message boards I am expecting to be in awe of his coaching.

How, exactly, did you “own” it?

No, bailey needs to own this.

(And, you’re wrong, too.)
I’m not saying McCollum won’t win, but it’s too early to declare him as the best Drake coach ever. You never know, he might not have the same success at a high major program with more fan pressure and stiffer competition by playing in a major conference. Regardless, I’m not buying those saying IU whiffed and got another bad coach.

Imo, IU snagged a good coach ... but whiffed on a better one. Time will tell.

I like that DeVries mentors were Altman and McDermott tho

That’s fine, I don’t disagree. However, @bailey777 has been off the hook, talking sh!t, on how meh CBM is. He specifically mentioned tonight’s game. He needs to own it.

I was preferring CBM, but hadn’t really looked at CDV. I am really pleased with CDV being our coach and believe he will be successful at IU.

Remains to be seen how either one will ultimately do in power four bball. As always, time will tell.🙂

You’re good Harry, didn’t mean to call you out. You’re right. No whiff at all. I’m all in on CDV!

It’s okay if they’re both elite. Sometimes, you have two very good candidates for the same position. That might have happened here.

BM will win big at Iowa. This should have been obvious at the time. We can all just hope DD will outperform him or it's over.
