Israel attacks Iran's nuclear and military infrastructure.

We've seen this before.

He’s 89. I gotta work on my scowl.

Iran's most advanced missile presents a problem:
Missing from that article is any mention of launch infrastructure. Each launch give the Israelis the means to look for their next target. I would imagine the fancy rocket fuel source would be an appealing target.

Reports are that the Israelis simultaneously killed 9 nuke scientists the first night with a super-secret weapon. Any speculation about what that might be?

I'm sure they're doing all they can to find and destroy every launcher and all equipment and fuel associated with Iran's missiles.

On the 9 nuclear scientists, I'm not cleared for Israeli Super-Secret. ;) If I knew how they were killed, I could speculate on a weapon. I have no idea.

The long term problem (in my mind) is that with their oil resources ($$$$$) they'll be able to just buy the components (and the technicians to build it) for an A Bomb from a combination of North Korea and Pakistan unless those oil resources are made unusable for at least the short term (if there is no positive regime change)... I don't see how they can leave the Iranian oil producing infrastructure intact and believe that they won't use that income to clandestinely reconstitute their nuclear program...

The short term problem (morphing into the really long term) is that the doesn't appear to be any way to trigger a certain positive regime change...

If I were the Israelis and regime change were one of my goals, I'd go after every vestige of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps along with any known members of their internal religious police just to give any would be Iranian George Washingtons some breathing room but even then I have my doubts whether such a personality exists inside or outside Iran...
Hey, I'm in Indy for my annual oncologist appt. and came into the hotel late last night - like 11pm

There were probably 30 guys in uniform (Army fatigues) checking in. I didn't say anything and went to the elevator. Also waiting there was an officer ( what I thought was a Major) waiting there. Reall young guy. Then I looked a little closer and he's Navy - a Lt. Commander. Said he'd just got promoted.

I said what are you doing with this Army unit? He said there were 5 other Navy guys there. Never said why. I said something like "I guess this isn't an exercise" and he said "Yeah, with all the stuff going on over there.....". So, I got the idea. He was able to maintain OPSEC.

So..... interesting. I assume they caught a transport out today, but have no idea. Maybe they were going to Crain for training? The Navy guy said he'd been training with the Army and did mention something about 'special forces, but not door kickers".

Very strange.

We all assume this bomb will work. You raise a good point. It’s built into a MF’ing mountain. It could very easily not work and we’re standing there with our dick in our hands.
I don't think we need to collapse the mountain - just wreck it enough to collapse on itself and seal up the entrances.

Maybe let Israel put boots on the ground, take over the area, and blow it up from the inside. They said they don't need us.

Who's the warmonger now?

Too late. Trump just announced we've bombed 3 sites on 'successful' missions.

We're in the shit now.

Operational Security... (misdirection on the timeline)... Had me fooled...

I like it...

Hopefully everything we've executed has been successful...

I have to admit that one of my biggest problems with Trump has always been his deference to Putin, and that is being kind. I am impressed with him ignoring Putin on this matter, and basically telling him to go to his corner and sit this one out. Trump is showing signs of listening to national security professionals like previous presidents, instead of the Russian apologists like Gabbard, Tucker, Bannon, etc. Or he may only be listening to Bibi.

Hegseth probably kept out of the loop on this one. He proved he can't be trusted with protecting strike mission plans.
Jennifer Griffin on Fox said in all the years she's covered Washington and the military she's never seen anything like this. In the ability to catch everyone off guard and keep everything this secret. Yet you've said Trump can't be trusted with sensitive material. Lol.

Some additional articles/info:

((No idea who that last one is...))

Don't be a fool. We've had many, many successful military operations without any leaks. It's not like there haven't been signs - B2s, Navy Strike Groups and Air Force Tankers for inflight refueling have been moving to the region for days, but that always happens when we ramp up for a big operation. Glad to see it successful. Now STFU with your stupid comments - and believe me, they're incredibly stupid. Par for the course for you though.

You've clearly been proven dramatically wrong...
About what? You do know that I'm happy to see CENTCOM pull this off, right? I was only half joking with that post about Hegseth.

Hegseth proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he could be trusted with Top Secret strike mission plans. That isn't open for debate.
