Is incremental improvement enough at this point?

I’d take a run at Jim Leonhard. He’s a bright young, defensive mind. Played in the NFL. He could hire a qualified OC with his connections and get some momentum going. This staff is just riding it out waiting for the inevitable. Would it be after this year as we end the season on an 8 game losing streak? Be interesting to see if Dolson doesn’t go into hiding if this ends how this looks like it will end.

Dolson should be the first person fired.

He was a disaster when he was hired and was a continuation hire of the good old boy network at IU. Pat Kraft would have been infinitely better and he was an ex IU guy so they still could have still stuck with an IU guy but…..no. What do they do? They have 2 guys to choose from. One is an ex football player for IU who already had 2 head AD positions under his belt and an associate AD position at IU for 2 years.
On the other, you have a former basketball manager. Never played a sport in college. Spent his entire career sheltered inside of the stale athletic department. Zero outside experience like Kraft and they still hired this guy.
