Mavs have dumped Deron Williams and traded for Nerlens Noel. Not that Noel has anything to do with Yogi but I think the plan is to go with with Yogi as the starting PG for the rest of the season. He went back to a bench role just before the All Star break with Deron starting. They probably tried to build up some trade value on Deron to prove he was healthy. No major bites so they cut him.
