Right now we're doing Goode a favor let him on the floor. He's terrible defensively and the one skill he does have seemed to have been left in Champaign. We have 7 rotation players and maybe five Newton 4-5 mpg.
I think Newton and Cupps will be gone after this season Cupps transfer and Newton retire. Tucker and Galloway are my only locks off the bench.

No, they overpaid for an under achieving coach. Woodson is in way over his head.
For 2 years now..."they need to shoot more three's"....start shooting more three's, and then it's "we need to stop shooting three's".....this fan base is atrocious.
You can't possibly watch this and think this is acceptable. The effort, the subbing, the approach to D, the sets.
What are the positives you see and please don't say we are 4-0. This schedule is a joke.
For once I agree with you. Goode needs to keep shooting. Good shooters have to shoot their way out of slumps
Great idea: have one of your best shooters stop shooting because he's in a minor slump? Not worried about his shooting as long as he's taking good shots. I think he was 1-2 last night, so not like he's throwing up a ton of shots and that's 50%, so he helped our % last night. If he's taking good shots, you want him taking all that he can. Shooters shoot themselves out of slumps, not stop shooting.
He’s a complete liability on the defensive end. If he isn’t shooting well he’s freaking worthless. Doesn’t need to be playing very much.
TG should get more of his minutes. Not sure if Trey is being limited due to his injury or maybe the turnovers he had, but he needs more floor time than Goode. Goode should be maybe 10 mins a game unless he’s on fire from deep.
Regarding Goode ever being “on fire from deep” may prove to be a figment of one’s imagination, better relegated to a lost episode of Twilight Zone.
Why would he? The poor guy has endured Archie and Woody for five years.
That defense is currently in the top 7% nationally on Kenpom and top 9% on Torvik.
I'm not talking about the team. I'm talking about a very bad shooter in Goode. He left his shot in Illinois evidently. I watched him against SC and he was atrocious. Read my post and see if I mentioned any other players. I bet you can't . So don't try playing like I said it as a team. I said Goode - one guy who is terrible so far. Maybe he'll get better but I doubt it. As far as Lifelong--- I've followed IU since 1969.
Offensive and defensive ppg is a positive. Free throw shooting is a huge positive. 3 point shooting looks better. Perimeter scoring and playmaking both much improved.
We need to clean up TOs and rebounding. Everything else stays the same and not a game we have played is within 25 points.
Our entire starting backcourt and wing are Sophomores so we will have some games like this unfortunately.
If he’s not shooting threes and making a fair percentage, he should never get on the floor. Threes are the only positive he can provide.
Really? That doesn’t seem right. But then again, some folks forget we are undefeated.
Yea surprising as it is ... also top 26 in Miya. The poor ass def rebounding made it look worse than it was. Still too early to take it seriously though.

What happend with Connor Essegian? Wish we would of got him instead of Goode just helped Nebraska beat #10 Creighton. 15 points has hit 8 threes already on the season and he is only a junior.
