I never thought of you as a Bernie guy!Let’s stop all lobbying. No money to politicians from Individuals or corporations in excess of $500. Pound the pavement and tell people what you believed.

So, what was so special about my "rants" tonight? What was hitting a little too close to home? Calling you a hermit? The crack about your obvious lack of education or your limited world view? You have some secret crush on her? If you notice until your rants tonight I don't respond to your BS anymore. I don't put people on ignore I just ignore them. You having a bad day? It is funny watching liberals go all unhinged when people don't like them. I don't like you.
You just don't want to understand gunowners. You don't get them and they're not going to get you - so you've removed yourself from any possibility of a discussion and compromise.I stand by what I said.
Even your rationale for people owning guns is based in fear of something. At the very least it’s a fear that the system will let them down.
Guns have taken on this machismo persona in the US and it seems almost everyone who owns one thinks they’re an effing tough guy. Just look at at campaign ads for all the kooky far right politicians posing with guns and blowing shit up. They do that because the “eff yeah!” response is big enough, it works and they get elected. All that is trying to give a warped sense of security to people who are afraid of something.
But it’s not all right wing hillbilly blowhards. I was talking to an old friend about this in recent days and she told me that as a black church going woman she is a licensed gun owner and has learned to shoot.
I’m paraphrasing here, but she said she’s not going to become a statistic when some yahoo sees a black person on a cheerios commercial and shoot up her church. She said they always go for woman and children and usually target churches and schools.
she felt emboldened (which is what gun ownership does) and my heart really goes out to her. But she’s fooling herself if she doesn’t think her decision was based in fear.
Many more have been lost .Many lives have been saved by citizens lawfully carrying a firearm who protected others from monsters carrying knives and guns. Ask anyone who was the recipient of that protection if they agree with the OP. May the orchestra of crickets begin to play.
Oh good Lord. I was responding to your remark about it being “to complex” for me.Your first sentence made no sense.
"No, but they might be too." Too what? You wrote an incomplete sentence. I'd just like clarification. "Too" what?
Lol. Yes arming teachers is a great idea. You know, that same teacher who left the door open ? Arming teachers is not the solution. Teachers are leaving in droves already. Add firearm experts to the list and see how that goes.I wondering why she and so many others aren't placing blame (if it must be assigned)..., on the one individual who could have prevented or at minimum completely changed the shooting paradigm: the dumbass teacher who decided, for whatever selfish purposes of their own, to completely ignore written protocol and left the F-ng Door Open...!!!
The two clear lessons that should come from this horror are these:
Hardening Protocol "Must" Be Followed At All Times and at least some teachers inside the building need to be armed, because you can rarely count on anyone else to come save you a timely fashion...
I’m pretty sure this guy has never met a gun owner. Maybe he’s seen an episode of Duck Dynasty or watched a few too many bad political ads.You just don't want to understand gunowners. You don't get them and they're not going to get you - so you've removed yourself from any possibility of a discussion and compromise.
Well baristas? Let's not get carried awayI’m pretty sure this guy has never met a gun owner. Maybe he’s seen an episode of Duck Dynasty or watched a few too many bad political ads.
I swear to god every gun owner I know, I wouldn’t have known that they owned guns if I hadn’t gone to the range with them, they weren’t my family, or I hadn’t been to their ranch. It’s not a character trait.
I did have one buddy in Texas that never kept his locked up and would bring it in the car. I always gave him shit for it. Stupid.
I probably have dozens of other friends/ family/ acquaintances that own one and I’ll never know.
Gun owners are our family, friends, coworkers, baristas, Americans, and this idiot treats them all like some buck toothed caricature.
Yes let’s blame the dumbass teacher. Not the shooter. Not the fact 18 year olds can buy this type of weapon, not the person who should have called in the lockdown, not the police who ignored the children screaming for an hour. Blame the teacher who should have been thinking a mass murderer was headed her way after the awards ceremony. She will have enough guilt on her own .That's absolutely No excuse to ignore protocol (and it's my understanding that the awards ceremonies had already occurred).., at any rate..., the one person who could have prevented this tragedy is the dumbass teacher who decided it was okay to ignore protocol and prop the damn door open... If the guy can't get in lives would have been saved...
Lots of people who argue for restrictions on guns are "gun owners"... The Right hates David Hogg, but he actually grew up in a family that owned guns and made sure he was aware of how to use them. To protect their home... That doesn't mean he should have taken one to school that day in Parkland...I’m pretty sure this guy has never met a gun owner. Maybe he’s seen an episode of Duck Dynasty or watched a few too many bad political ads.

Before you would allow them to be armed they should have to be willing to pass a psych eval, a firearms training course and an emergency first aid course... Along with a blind evaluation from their peers as to their responsibility and reliability...Lol. Yes arming teachers is a great idea. You know, that same teacher who left the door open ? Arming teachers is not the solution. Teachers are leaving in droves already. Add firearm experts to the list and see how that goes.
Which report? Their first, second, or third report? The officials are changing their stories so often it’s hard to keep track.Uvalde mass shooter was not confronted by police before he entered the school, Texas official says
The 18-year-old suspect who killed 21 people at a school in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday was not confronted by police before he entered the school, a Texas law enforcement official said, contradicting earlier comments from leaders and raising further questions about the police response to the massacre.www.cnn.com
According to reports, Robb did NOT have an armed resource officer on site.
As I have posted before, the Uvalde school system has its own police department with a chief, detective, and 4 officers for 10 schools (I've heard it's 8 schools, but I found 10 listed on a website).
So there are armed officers but not enough to cover all the schools all the time.
Didn't read rest of your post. Too damn long and I already know it will be filled with half truths and inaccuracies.
Door stays shut, murderer does Not get in...Yes let’s blame the dumbass teacher. Not the shooter. I read there were multiple 911 calls from kids while police officers were sitting in the halls. It’s weird that you and other libs spent two years bitching about militarization of the police, lack of de-escalation skills, too many deadly arms, excessive use of force and advocating for general toning down of aggressiveness now bitch about the cops not being trigger-happy, aggressive, and militaristic. The on scene commander might have blown the call, but he could have also blown the call the other way and we could have found that police gunfire killed some kids. This was a no-win.
BTW, there is evidence that the only gunfire from the perp during the waiting time was directed at the door and cops. The 100,s of rounds fired at the kids was already mostly finished.
You are correct because you rant like an idiot constantly. One thing is for certain, if you have some sort of education you are living proof it has no correlation to intelligence. So, what was so special about my "rants" tonight? What was hitting a little too close to home? Calling you a hermit? The crack about your obvious lack of education or your limited world view?
Just let me know, and I'll avoid it from now on. It really hurts my feelings when you say you don't like me...although I'm calling bullshit on that.
Speaking of dim… what are you talking about? Door stays shut, murderer does get in?Door stays shut, murderer does get in...
Are you really as dim as you pretend to be on here???
You got me on a typo... Congrats! I'll go edit it since you obviously can't figure it out on your own...Speaking of dim… what are you talking about? Door stays shut, murderer does get in?
And she will live with the guilt of that horrible mistake for the rest of her/his life. I cannot imagine. It makes me nauseous thinking about it.So you did not read the timeline. There were as many as 17 police there at 12:03. At 1216:
One of the 911 callers reported that there were “eight or nine” people who were still alive.
A couple minutes later a child called, shots were heard, the child said he shot the door. Here is the question, could this door be one separating rooms and he shot it to get through?
Also in that story, the missing piece. A teacher propped the door open when she went to check on the car crashing, when she saw the gun she ran inside to call 911 but did not close the door. That teacher also screwed up (if that ends up being accurate).
It’s not really the best time to make an error when you are calling other people names now, is it?You got me on a typo... Congrats! I'll go edit it since you obviously can't figure it out on your own...
Never seems to stop you. It’s not really the best time to make an error when you are calling other people names now, is it?
English please, hermit. It's you getting hit to close too home for being a liberal fool and describing all of your shortcomings and projecting them on to me.
How dare you? The teachers are in there laying their lives down for their kids, this time because the police were too afraid to do their jobs. Every single school shootings have found teachers going to heroics measures, literally shielding students with their bodies . Shame. Before you would allow them to be armed they should have to be willing to pass a psych eval, a firearms training course and an emergency first aid course... Along with a blind evaluation from their peers as to their responsibility and reliability...
If we lose teachers because of this I'd say good riddance..., we'd be losing the right ones... Most likely the very type who think the protocols are silly and the rules don't apply to them and would be the very ones who'd leave the next door open because their personal convenience is more important than protecting children...
Absolutely. Guns don’t belong in schools. I’ll listen to a gun owner, I’ll listen to anyone that thinks they have an idea on how to lower gun deaths in America.Lots of people who argue for restrictions on guns are "gun owners"... The Right hates David Hogg, but he actually grew up in a family that owned guns and made sure he was aware of how to use them. To protect their home... That doesn't mean he should have taken one to school that day in Parkland...
There’s my stalker again. How ya doin, Cray Cray?Never seems to stop you.
This is the crazy thing, You post stuff on a message board to get a reaction. When you find out a lot of people don't find you as wonderful as you think you are and therefore react negatively you pout. What do you expect? You are abrasive and obnoxious and people have a reaction to that. There’s my stalker again. How ya doin, Cray Cray?
You are truly an idiot... Nothing I've posted was derogatory toward teachers who have protected kids... (and of course you knew that)... You're the poster girl for hysterical dim Dims..How dare you? The teachers are in there laying their lives down for their kids, this time because the police were too afraid to do their jobs. Every single school shootings have found teachers going to heroics measures, literally shielding students with their bodies . Shame.
Well then you’re just an absolute moron if you think nothing you posted is derogatory towards teachers, who all protect kids. You are truly an idiot... Nothing I've posted was derogatory toward teachers who have protected kids... (and of course you knew that)... You're the poster girl for hysterical dim Dims..
You've proven you're no longer worthy of my (or actually anyones) time... Adios...Well then you’re just an absolute moron if you think nothing you posted is derogatory towards teachers, who all protect kids.
Hi stalker hermit Cray.
You obviously didn't read my post. Speaking of hermits do you still dress your dogs up in costumes?Well then you’re just an absolute moron if you think nothing you posted is derogatory towards teachers, who all protect kids.
Hi stalker hermit Cray.
Which report? Their first, second, or third report? The officials are changing their stories so often it’s hard to keep track.
It’s the people giving CNN the information that are not reliable. You haven’t noticed the stories changing the last three days from the governor, police, etc? This is the latest I found. Is CNN not a reliable source?
So you're equating people complaining about police shooting unarmed people with the failure of police to take action against a killer who had fired at witnesses, prior to entering a school and barricading himself in a classroom? Pretty sure none of us liberals have complained about any actions that cops have taken to subdue or deal with people who actually posed a threat to those cops. It’s weird that you and other libs spent two years bitching about militarization of the police, lack of de-escalation skills, too many deadly arms, excessive use of force and advocating for general toning down of aggressiveness now bitch about the cops not being trigger-happy, aggressive, and militaristic. I am truly heartbroken. As long as I have my stalker though, I’m cool. PS . anyone’sYou've proven you're no longer worthy of my (or actually anyones) time... Adios...
I heard the same thing. There is a question about whether those cops in the hall knew of those calls.I read there were multiple 911 calls from kids while police officers were sitting in the halls.
In 15 seconds, one can search for 'AK-47 pistol and find several examples..."AK-47" STYLE. PISTOL. An AK-47 is not a PISTOL. Dumbass.
I told you to get your nomenclature right and you had no clue what I was saying. You just went ahead and regurgitated whatever you saw.
I wonder if it has purple hair? Wears button up short sleeve shirts, with a pack of reds in the left breast pocket. A hart tattoo on it's left arm, says mom.You obviously didn't read my post. Speaking of hermits do you still dress your dogs up in costumes?
What are you mumbling about?I wonder if it has purple hair? Wears button up short sleeve shirts, with a pack of reds in the left breast pocket. A hart tattoo on it's left arm, says mom.
These are the things I wonder.
Hi Cray Cray stalker, isn’t it time you move on to Bowl or Bulk or whoever else you are stalking tonight? Don’t want to take all your time and attention. You obviously didn't read my post. Speaking of hermits do you still dress your dogs up in costumes?
Did you intend to say 'semi-automatic'?Maybe if we made it a ton harder to get automatic weapons?
Just a thought.
No. I’m saying what I said which is the democrats who fund-raise and campaign on over militarized police, police are Rambos, and defund the police now call the police cowards and say they should have been Rambo. You know damn well the Democratic anti-police rhetoric went well beyond specific cases and was a basic theme of the Democrat policy. So you're equating people complaining about police shooting unarmed people with the failure of police to take action against a killer who had fired at witnesses, prior to entering a school and barricading himself in a classroom?
