I hate the idea of Government Bailouts, but if I had to make an exception...

Buddy’s dad was roommates with the founder back in the day. Minion’s mom worked at hooters first year of college. Dated a couple of hooters’ waitresses through the years.

It’s a restaurant near and dear to my heart from way back. Food certainly had a unique taste. They should have brought a diaper along with the bill. Rough on the stomach.

But it had its time. It’s run its course. Like so many others from Olive Garden on. And there was a bunch before those. Remember the ground round? It was the inspiration for Outback - another coming down the curve

In Mesquite, TX...Hooters was kinda the Single A affiliate for the East Dallas stripclubs. Girls outta HS would get used to the idea at Hooters, before moving up the ranks for bigger money.

It served its purpose.

Twin Peaks became our go-to for a bit at Mockingbird Station across from SMU. Great Golden Tee setup, and they would serve their beers at like 29 degrees...was like a beer frosty.

I’ve been to twin peaks once and it was rough. I was at a hooters about 5 years ago out of town at a soccer tourney in Ohio and it was rough too

Yeah, haven't been to a Hooters in probably 15+ years.

The neighborhoods they seem to survive in usually don't cater to my demo.

The one's down in FL close to where they originated are decent. Few right on the water. But yeah most are long past their prime.

Maybe 20 years ago when they were still active and vacationing in Bonita Springs, the local Hooters down there was one of my folks favorite spots.
