I am hearing some rumblings on other social media sights, dare I more than hope that

Wilkerson's agent is working to get bigger offer. Might be time to step up. It's one year so how much can an overpayment be if the book is wiped clean next April.

I wonder what the kickback will be for this agent once he gets his player landed somewhere. Alot of rumored cash for a (what I think) will be 11-13ppg scorer in 2025-2026. If he chooses IU I hope I am wrong and he lights it up like someone earning $1million or more should.

We are most certainly going to have to overpay to get any of the to 40 type guys given how the portal is going this year.

He’s a volume 3 point guy almost 8 a game. Length and 44% shooting is why. Hes a willing defender too. Those guys don’t grow on trees. He was 21 point scorer last year by the way.

I get that. Would be a nice pickup. But the change of competition will be alot harder on him. I hope he chooses IU and he does really well.

"You have no dog in the fight" Really? A PUke fan that has done nothing here but trash IU?

I'll take something that is completely fabricated for $100 Alex...
Lol! You can believe whatever you want. No trashing, just facts. I'm sure you would know better than me. I'm sure you are touring the campus and dorms on a regular basis.

To be fair, Lexington is not consistently listed among the best places to live. I never see their name mentioned, nor KY's campus. Whereas, Bloomington and IU are consistently mentioned as best places to live for culture, the arts, music, etc. and most beautiful campus in the country, respectively.
Lexington is not good. The horse farms outside of Lexington tend to be pretty nice.

I’ve lived in rural Kentucky, Lexington, Miami, NYC, Louisville and Atlanta. Lexington is considered a very good place to live for families and students. I’m not a small college town person so not for me. But again, it’s often mentioned in lists of of good towns for families. In s a pretty nice place. If you subjectively dont like it, then you dont like it.

Lexington and Bloomington are both great places to me.

The kid chose a good school and can be remembered well if he produces. We just lost out. He interviews well and I think he will do great.

I still drive up to the Bluebird in Bloomington to watch country and other music acts. Love that venue. Fun walk around town and area to me.

Good get for you guys…or anyone.

Yep comes down to what you want and like as a person. There are certain big cities you could not pay me a million bucks to live near. It is different for everyone.

In all due respect Mr @Courtsensetwo (this is intended as a compliment)you are one of the biggest homers on this site. Your glasses come in one color, but multiple shades of crimson. Further, this is the most subjective subject of any. What, exactly, makes IU campus so superior to another campus? Anywhere in AZ, Cali, Colorado or southeast smokes blooomington from a weather perspective. In those areas, you count the number of consecutive days of sunshine, not grey. The winter sucks in Indiana / Midwest. Surrounding areas of Knoxville Tennessee make lake Griffey and lake Monroe seem like a mundane pond. Not to mention, the Tennessee River and subsequent water activities. This goes double for Clemson. Bars are bars. All college towns have them. They are all open late and they all get people drunk. Again, I love IU and the campus is very pretty. But when you get outside of Bloomington and live in another state or states as I have since graduating which includes Georgia, California, Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina, the rose tinted glasses fade and you begin to see the attributes of other campuses and college towns. Your statement of “not close” eliminates you from the discussion.
There are multiple services that rank attractiveness of college campuses. Of course they are subjective. But IU is almost always in the top 10.

It's funny everybody was like Indiana has all this money that's why the job is so attractive and why DeVries came but for some reason we are having a hard time beating out teams for the top players. Now it's people saying that we have to find the right fits and culture players. We can't have it both ways I don't care who is on the team as long as it's a competitive group but you still need elite players and difference makers and so far we have a bunch of role guys and one good player in DeVries.
You happy now? Probably not…. Only beat out Kentucky and Auburn.

Bloomington’s fine, Lexington’s fine, Knoxville’s fine

Now, Auburn and Stark Vegas, on the other hand….

seem to be enjoying himself, I was in the same room with him and pope and a few assistants, I guess. he's not 6 5
I told you he was NOT having fun at Keeneland! Read someplace on Rupps Rafters that it’s a lot more fun when there’s a group of them. I couldn’t understand why they didn’t have players going with him and not just his family and coach. Cracked me up that one of them said that Pope does that on purpose to see if they can handle the bright lights. Lol

West side of I-75 is not particularly nice part of Lexington. My eldest was recruited by UK gymnastics, I spent some time on that campus, it’s not IU.

I doubt he based his decision on a day at Keeneland, tubby had Tyler Hansbrough out there one day, they lost out on him. but he left the track with some cash.

I never said anything about campuses. Every poster changes the topic.

Oh I’m being sarcastic. But I do think it would be awkward being there for several hours without any other players..
