those guys are nuts. There is a long string over there which says we had Brad on the hook until the final moment, and then he declined on Sunday night...SD had CDD as a back up and moved asap as soon as BS said no yet again. Not buying any of it, and none of it matters now anyways. Brad's gone for good, no reason to ever mention him againChris still says we are getting brad stevens!!! LOL that guy is pure comedy.
It is some of the most comical stuff I have ever read and they all believe that Chris guy. He strings them along and they eat up every word he says. I think I saw he also claimed we were getting conwell which of course we did not. He clearly is a troll or is just flat out awful with predictionsthose guys are nuts. Seems like a good dude, tho it doesn't sound like his sources are near as connected as he makes it seem. Haven't watched his tape, but the descriptions are pretty much exactly what we need. I'm sure a guy like Robert Wright from Baylor isn't happening... so a guy like this would be cheaper, and VERY helpful.According to Twitter and BTB, there are "rumblings" that the Sun Belt Player of the Year, Tayton Conerway is visiting this weekend. He's a PG that can't shoot the 3 very well, but is a plus defender (3rd in the NCAA in steals), good rebounder (~5/game), high 2-point %, and a 39% assist rate.
Look at his shooting percentage on 2pt shots - 62% conference last year. That's post player numbers. Phenomenal for a PG.Haven't watched his tape, but the descriptions are pretty much exactly what we need. Pure speculation...but I would think that combined with his high defensive metrics, points to him being 1)fast/quick 2)strongLook at his shooting percentage on 2pt shots - 62% conference last year. That's post player numbers. Phenomenal for a PG.
Conerway is awesome and he is visiting IU this weekend. I confirmed that in the portal thread last night. He'll be on campus with Lamar Wilkerson, Reed Bailey and Tucker DeVries. Rob Wright committed to BYU. Conerway is visiting IU this weekend and would be a great addition.Haven't watched his tape, but the descriptions are pretty much exactly what we need. Dang! Great get for BYU. Hope the Conerway visit goes well. Assistant coaches and lead guards... top two priorities, in that order, in my opinion.Rob Wright committed to BYU. Conerway is visiting IU this weekend and would be a great addition.
Yup .. strong is what stood out .. his control when in traffic, it's not pretty, but damn effective. I started watching clips and replays after I saw his insane 2pt percentage. Wondered if he was a booty ball post up PG or something and jst to see how he has such a high %. He powers himself to the rim area, keeps control of his dribble, doesn't get bothered and effectively gets off shots. If it all translates up a level... he'd be a good pickup.Pure speculation...but I would think that combined with his high defensive metrics, points to him being 1)fast/quick 2)strong
We're going to need to surround Tucker and Reed with guys like that.
Yes, they will stand around and say nice things to the best players. What is all this talk of putting guys in complimentary roles??

You'd love a bunch of "I'll be your Doug" type guys, wouldn't youWhat is all this talk of putting guys in complimentary roles?? Is that a thing these days?
If you swing and miss on the highest priced guys, then you emphasize how well the guys you do get fit a need. What is all this talk of putting guys in complimentary roles?? Is that a thing these days?
Bless her heart. What does she want to study?I have no dog in this fight, but my daughter and I visited both IU and Kentucky campuses this past year while evaluating her college choices. My daughter called Kentucky an updated IU campus. You can say whatever you want about Lexington, but the Kentucky campus is beautiful. Dorms, top of the line. This is what I am hearing from my daughter and her high school friends.

Well lets hope so we need to start locking up some playersThis feels like the calm before the storm. I am guessing there is going to be a lot of excitement in the next 7 days...
How much NIL does BYU have suddenly they seem to get anyone they want.Rob Wright committed to BYU. Conerway is visiting IU this weekend and would be a great addition.
There was discussion before last season that they had donors that wanted to lift the program but I don’t know who they are.How much NIL does BYU have suddenly they seem to get anyone they want.

They're serious about it, but claim no church money is in play and that some reported amounts aren't real numbers. There was discussion before last season that they had donors that wanted to lift the program but I don’t know who they are.

They had the first Euro player in D1 I believe. Kresimir Cosic from Croatia in 1970. There was some story that he was asked by a journalist about his hustle. Cosic answered in my country if I don’t hustle they throw rocks at me.They're serious about it, but claim no church money is in play and that some reported amounts aren't real numbers.

NBA-bound Egor Demin’s experience at BYU shows it is not all about NIL in Kevin Young’s rising program
New coach Kevin Young got BYU basketball in the game with more 'priceless' elements than NIL payments.www.deseret.com

Supposedly they’re paying top NIL money to the number one recruit Dybantsa (sp). Reportedly $7M. Someone has a lot of money to give a player for one year. How much NIL does BYU have suddenly they seem to get anyone they want.
How do you know? They bring them in but that doesn’t mean we want them. It’s a two way street. It's funny everybody was like Indiana has all this money that's why the job is so attractive and why DeVries came but for some reason we are having a hard time beating out teams for the top players. Now it's people saying that we have to find the right fits and culture players. We can't have it both ways I don't care who is on the team as long as it's a competitive group but you still need elite players and difference makers and so far we have a bunch of role guys and one good player in DeVries.
Mormon money.lolHow much NIL does BYU have suddenly they seem to get anyone they want.
"You have no dog in the fight" Really? A PUke fan that has done nothing here but trash IU?I have no dog in this fight, but my daughter and I visited both IU and Kentucky campuses this past year while evaluating her college choices.
