those guys are nuts. There is a long string over there which says we had Brad on the hook until the final moment, and then he declined on Sunday night...SD had CDD as a back up and moved asap as soon as BS said no yet again. Not buying any of it, and none of it matters now anyways. Brad's gone for good, no reason to ever mention him again

It is some of the most comical stuff I have ever read and they all believe that Chris guy. He strings them along and they eat up every word he says. I think I saw he also claimed we were getting conwell which of course we did not. He clearly is a troll or is just flat out awful with predictions

According to Twitter and BTB, there are "rumblings" that the Sun Belt Player of the Year, Tayton Conerway is visiting this weekend. He's a PG that can't shoot the 3 very well, but is a plus defender (3rd in the NCAA in steals), good rebounder (~5/game), high 2-point %, and a 39% assist rate.
Haven't watched his tape, but the descriptions are pretty much exactly what we need. I'm sure a guy like Robert Wright from Baylor isn't happening... so a guy like this would be cheaper, and VERY helpful.
Look at his shooting percentage on 2pt shots - 62% conference last year. That's post player numbers. Phenomenal for a PG.
Pure speculation...but I would think that combined with his high defensive metrics, points to him being 1)fast/quick 2)strong
We're going to need to surround Tucker and Reed with guys like that.
Conerway is awesome and he is visiting IU this weekend. I confirmed that in the portal thread last night. He'll be on campus with Lamar Wilkerson, Reed Bailey and Tucker DeVries. Big weekend!

Dang! Great get for BYU. Hope the Conerway visit goes well. Assistant coaches and lead guards... top two priorities, in that order, in my opinion.
Yup .. strong is what stood out .. his control when in traffic, it's not pretty, but damn effective. I started watching clips and replays after I saw his insane 2pt percentage. Wondered if he was a booty ball post up PG or something and jst to see how he has such a high %. He powers himself to the rim area, keeps control of his dribble, doesn't get bothered and effectively gets off shots. If it all translates up a level... he'd be a good pickup.

Yes, they will stand around and say nice things to the best players.

If you swing and miss on the highest priced guys, then you emphasize how well the guys you do get fit a need.

How much NIL does BYU have suddenly they seem to get anyone they want.
There was discussion before last season that they had donors that wanted to lift the program but I don’t know who they are.
It's funny everybody was like Indiana has all this money that's why the job is so attractive and why DeVries came but for some reason we are having a hard time beating out teams for the top players. Now it's people saying that we have to find the right fits and culture players. We can't have it both ways I don't care who is on the team as long as it's a competitive group but you still need elite players and difference makers and so far we have a bunch of role guys and one good player in DeVries.
Speaking of Culture we fire Tim Garl and hire Kenny Johnson. And I know Drew Adams has a shady background.

Supposedly they’re paying top NIL money to the number one recruit Dybantsa (sp). Reportedly $7M. Someone has a lot of money to give a player for one year.
