After we beat Notre Dame 55 - 6 this Friday evening how many of you are planning on heading down to the Sugar Bowl?

If the weather is stable it's not a bad drive down there especially if you're a history buff...

If you spend more than a day down there (in N.O.) don't miss the World War Two Museum...

If you drive down be sure to visit Shiloh along the way (among other sites)...

The Hermitage is a nice place to see in Nashville just to say you did...

I am still trying to figure out great pre-game places to go in Atlanta before our game on Jan 20th.

Will be a big crew from EVV. Not sure how many but I've been put on notice they are all staying with me in Mobile before the game. Not asking. Massive grin! Honestly, it could get ugly and cost me a fortune. Mobile is one of the best places in the US for foodies. I'll have to throw down on crawfish and low country boil (shrimp, crab legs, corn, etc.) and a huge b fast. Wife will be freaked but I hope it all happens. Happy Holidays.

In ATL, I'll be in Buckhead with my roomie and his fam. In it to win it! Go Hoosiers!

We took a little bacon and we took a little beans and we fought the bloody bulldogs in the town of New Orleans .

I lived in the French Quarter for ten years.
Going to the World War II museum is a must. You will need a full day to do it justice.
If you do bars, I suggest The Blacksmith Shop (original building so 100s of years old), The Montleone bar (a carousel bar surrounded by areas with plush leather chairs and couches), and perhaps a cigar from a bench overlooking the Mississippi.
I’m glad to suggest restaurants if anyone would like.
A 2 game win streak to start the CFP would sure be nice.

Im spending NYE in Mobile in route
To New Orleans. What’s the happening spot for a 54 year old on NYE who usually goes to bed about 10:00??

What I cannot figure out is where we will play after the Sugar Bowl? Either Dallas or Miami, but the charts aren’t clear on which one is on our path. Would like to start thinking about that trip as well.

Mobile has the Moon pie drop. Family focused event for all ages downtown. It is a big Moon Pie that drops at midnight. Mardis Gras started in Mobile so it's part of the landscape. Plenty of party spots with live music on Dauphin Street/ downtown. French quarter kind of place but much cleaner and safer. Soul kitchen has touring bands. There will be people your age and older on Dauphin Street having a blast.

Went to the 1982 Finals in the Dome. Drove over to Illinois and rode the famous 'City of New Orleans' . Hit all the spots, Antoines, Court of the Three. Sisters, etc. After game in the Quarter was great..

For a good eatery nearly world famous you can't leave NO without enjoying BBQ Shrimp at Pascal Manales. Undamnbelievable! I believe it is in the Garden District.
