Hot teachers and middle school kids—what gives?

Obviously all the men her own age are off chasing cougars.
Goat, I can't remember if you have kids. I have four. 2 sons and 2 daughters in that order. I would be so mad if some teacher took my son's virginity. I'd be mad if some teacher took my daughter's virginity too. I got a question. Do you think there is an extraordinary amount of sex perverts who get into the field of teaching so they can have access to kids? I'd like to know your thoughts.

No, I don't. Just as I don't think there are a bunch of people who become pastors and priests so that they can have access to kids. I think what happens is two-fold: 1) most abusers are people who have some position of familiarity/authority with/over the victim, and 2) we are especially drawn to notice those instances. So we see a pattern that truly exists, but we feel the need to assign ulterior motives to it, when it's really just basic math that makes it happen.

I think good evidence for my take is that the most common abusers of children aren't teachers or religious leaders, but family members. Because they are the only ones with even more familiarty/authority/access.

Oh, yes I agree. Incest is by far the most abuse in terms of quantity. They have the majority of access. One issue is men who join a family which already exists. They marry a woman with children and then molest the kids. I knew two guys growing up who ended up doing that. Both went to prison. One was where Grissom AFB used to be. It is a reserve base/prison. The other was at the prison near Carlyle. Lots of damage those guys did

I had one young and sort of hot teacher, in 5th grade, but I couldn't stand her. She fawned over all of the girls in the class.

More preachers than teachers ...

I don't believe that at all. Can you show me data on that?
By the sheer numbers there are more sexual offenses by teachers than pastors & priests. One study I read said 29% of offenders were teachers, but 9% were pastors & priests. So roughly 3:1. study here: https://www.researchgate.net/public...own_Cases_Of_Institutional_Child_Sexual_Abuse

But also by the sheer numbers there are way more teachers than pastors & priests. I would guess way more than 3:1. Each student is around more teachers and around them more often, more days of the week and more weeks in the year.

So I'd bet if you got 10 teachers in room A at random, and 10 pastors/priests in room B at random, a kid would be better off in room A.

edit:
The total number of teachers in the US in 2021 was 3,684,000.
In 2022, the U.S. had 464,568 clergy members.

ratio 7.9 / 1
offender ratio 3.2 / 1

worse: clergy, by a good margin

true. Probably only had a handful that would have been young enough to be a yes.
I had a Latin teacher who was from Virginia - very proper, but wore really short skirts, which adult women really weren't wearing in farm country. She was still in her 20s and I still dream about her.

Then we had a speech/drama teacher when I was a Senior in HS who had just graduated from college, so not a lot older than we were. Stacked. Everywhere she went, she had a line of HS boys following her around. Her class was very popular.

A couple years after I graduated there was a male teacher who went to some 'conference' up in Chicago with one of the Senior girls. By themselves. He was fired shortly thereafter, but knowing the girl, I bet it was worth it.

lmao So you pull numbers out your ass and then come up with your conclusion.

Has that been peer reviewed?

To get back with you? To move in with you? What's your daughter say to all that?
Daughter knows it would never happen and couldn’t care less. She’s lived this now for 9 years i guess. We don’t even have a parenting plan. It’s always been seamless with her and all that. It’s been fantastic.

But no she now has the same as I had. Her mom is Jekyll and Hyde. Truthfully I’m not sure I could live with a chick again. I’ve gotten into a content happy groove. 4 days of kids a week 3 days to rest/peace.

Kind of interesting tho as my friends are all in their early 50s and approaching empty houses with kids gone. Will be some life changes

My high school Spanish teacher wore her pants so tight you could see her massive camel toe. She was like 40, nothing you'd get excited about.

When you were sitting at your desk and she came next to you, you had to be careful how you turned and where your eyes were. My girlfriend at the time was in that class with me. Bad situation.

Joe you let that ex move back in? That ex wife keeps trying with me. Would be horrible.
OH HELL to the NO! We actually had that discussion Saturday and both agreed, that isn't happening. TBH we are just spending a few hours together on the weekends. She loves to cook, and TALK. I end up getting enough food for lunch all week. It's a pretty good set up. We have always got along well, minus the last year'ish of when we were married. I knew I screwed the pooch when I divorced her years ago, but me being me, that didn't stop me!
