These are a few of my favorite things. The older I get the more my feet need the Hoka’s and Oofoos. Oofoo’s are hands down the best slide I’ve ever worn. If you can’t walk on hard floors without some pain buy a pair.

yeah for soccer there's nothing more legendary than copas. and i can't tell you how many nailpounders i've heard say the same thing about red wing boots. too funny. and cole haan with the nike bottoms were revolutionary

I’ve gone through my share of Copa’s. Love my red wings, I have both brown and black. I don’t need the steel toes but love the worn down leather look.

i can't tell you how many pairs of copas i've split where the kangaroo leather meets the sole. blue screen of death

I'm partial to Altra Trail Runners, Lone Peak 7. I liked them so much as walking / hiking shoes that I got a pair for work. Very easy on achy knees and a roomy toe box for wide feet guys. ~$120 on Amazon

For hiking I invested in some Hoka boots. Most don’t know they sell them, but I wear mine for both hiking and inclement weather. They’ve got the thick heel like the Biondi’s.

Ive battled feet issues for years not. Here are my go tos for different uses:

Olukai slippers for inside
Timberland White Ledge for hiking and out side work
NB 1080s for cardio
Cole Haan dress shoes with the athletic soles. Although I think now a lot of brands make similar shoes
Reef flip flops for the beach/pool

This is a very weird post. Limited to shoes. Yesterday you were wishing you could just sell your house and have the cash and live in a van.

What are you up to eppy? You envisioning the next Nike?

These guys will partner up to make any kind of athletic shoe you want

My latest On Clouds are the best shoes I’ve ever owned and it’s not close. No ties, elastic laces, but I have the same pair for running and walking. They’re just phenomenal.

Let me address your concerns/ststements.

1)Shoes are kinda random, but one can only handle so much politics.
2) I would gladly sell my house and buy an RV (not a van) and travel throughout the country. I’ll do a little work on the computer and enjoy nature the rest of the day.
3) I have very little creativity other than some creative writing I fiddle with. I think I may have even failed elementary art class.
4) I’m not looking to develop a shoe, but I’d happily foot model something comfortable for a life’s worth of shoes.
I will rethink my RV idea if I can’t stream sports. I’d happily retire from this site. I’m nearing my 25th anniversary.

Have you seen the van life videos on YouTube?

The red striped Samba has become my gameday shoe.

Broke out these sweet bastards for Spring Break. Stowed under me as we speak. Can play 18 in the afternoon with them, jump right in the pool with them on to get out any sand, then wear them to the Hula Hut for dinner. 😄

Any shoe not coming in a 11.5W won't work for me. Many of the ones mentioned in this thread don't offer 11.5W

Many don't have wide sizes at all.
Some that do jump from 11 to 12, with no 11.5.

Sometimes I can wear an 11W or 12W, but what usually fits me is 11.5W. Not wide and my toes are in pain.
