Cig had a better history of winning. But, at the time I was among those saying "he hasn't won a game here yet" and that's what it took to convince me. Winning. Same with DeVries. OK, he's the coach. My God these guys are a bunch of whiners. Can’t believe how negative it is here. I’ve been watching video and checking out what other people and coaches are saying and the more I read the more excited I get.

I was thrilled with the Cig hire...no where to go but up for our previously sad sack of shit FB program. Turned out great. I'm an IU lifer, grad and employee. Born in '76 and, thanks to my parents, grew up living IU sports. Based on the relative/ comparative histories of our FB and BB programs, this hire shouldn't piss anyone off. It's not a sexy hire, but it is a good one for the current state of IU basketball.
