Helmet technology… this fall?

Per a report from The Athletic on Tuesday, the NCAA Football Rules Committee will meet at the end of February and could come out with approval for use of helmet and tablet technology. That was experimented with during the 2023-2024 non-College Football Playoff bowl games, and returns were promising.

It’s not like this would be expensive … with the TV rights contracts.

I have wondered when the NCAA would approve this technology as deaf schools have been using it already. The biggest change would be if all players had the screens added to their helmets so all get the play call at the same time.

so now the coach can get mad at players that make a dumb play/mistake before they even exit the field...lol
