Bingo. Almost time to let this season go. We’ve had multiple players (Stewart/Durr) seemingly suspended on a couple of occasions now, and 5 guys total get suspended before a must win game. This is not a collective group serious about winning. What concerns me most is that 3 of the guys suspended (Durr/Bates/Johnson) were guys Woody brought in. Culture is still a work in progress.
I have zero concerns about Woodson being the cause of this. Aspirational young men are going to fall out of line. The question is whether or not the leader is able to bring them back. That is yet to be seen.

recreational use became legal in 2020. You still have to be 21 to buy it. In-public usage is still very restricted.
Yep Woodson brought in three of these guys. Durr for sure needs to be gone and Stewart will be gone. Not so sure Bates should be back either. Johnson is gone as well.
I've said this for awhile now, and as much as I like Leal and Galloway, I think it was a mistake to take both of them in the same class. It would be different if Leal were a total knockdown shooter, but I don't see him as that. Honestly, I think Galloway's shot looks much better and maybe in another year or two, he might be solid on open 3s. Still not there yet, but he brings something to the floor that I just haven't seen out of Leal.
You have to remember the same posters were saying Jerome Hunter was a shooter also! Check out his average for Xavier this year!
I think I've been noticing a bit of modification to Galloways shooting techniques as well. He is not consistent with it yet. But it appears he is working on it. With success, it bodes well for his/our future. Hope it happens.
