That animal is fitting somehow, in our political environment. I know that many of you must celebrate!

One of my great memories in Bloomington was going to the Chinese New Year pot luck parties with all of the great Chinese food. My now-wife then taught English as a second language to Chinese students, so we had amazing dinners.

As a research professor I have had many Chinese students in my lab, including one now. I can't recruit any others, since my governor (DeSantis) has banned adding Chinese scientists to Florida schools since last year. But there are enough still here to have a little party.

It's wildly different over there than your General Tsao.

Bejing / Great Wall

You can only go during the annual provincial conferences. Smog is horrible otherwise. During that two week period, skies are blue and you forget you are in Beijing.

Great Wall is pretty neat if it's clear. Tobagan down!
