Covington is a big kid too. Reported to be 6'3/215. He looked it when he played.
I think Hale will get a good look at QB in the fall.
And Sudfeld, Covington, and Diamont will be in the mix in the spring and fall.
King is supposed to be 6'2/192. Hmmmm.
I hope Diamont will put on 10+ pounds in the offseason. Would help him compete for a depth spot. He was reported to be 6'1/175 when recruited. Looked 6'0/160 in the games I saw.
I sense Hale and King will redshirt if Diamont and Covington can win depth roles in the fall. But, they are going to have to do well in fall ball.
The IU staff will probably find a couple of depth QBs in spring ball. If the true freshmen beat them out...then fine. We will know what they got.
