Hahaha...Alex Jones is so, so, so screwed...

Yeah that is what I was wondering. Like it appears Jones has the real possibility of having a very large judgment against him and I think, based on the very limited knowledge I have of the proceedings (I am literally just going off everybody's comments here), that Jones could have a case against his attorney for screwing him over...or could he? That is what I was curious about. This just seems egregiously bad, particularly with the additional information you guys provided above with the plaintiff attorney saying, "Hey, you might want to claim some privelege on this."
My guess - and it's just a guess - is that Jones might have a case against his attorney for turning that stuff over.

There are three basic questions that must be answered: (1) Can I sue? The answer to this question is almost always "yes." (2) Can I win? This is where the question is tougher. I know nothing about the order requiring documents to be turned over, and I know nothing about the evidence the plaintiffs have other than the phone records on which to base plaintiffs' claims. If the other evidence is pretty good, then I might conclude that the text records, while embarrassing, represent no harm, and therefore no foul. (3) Can I collect? If Jones hasn't paid anything because of bankruptcy or other reason, then I fail to see how Jones has been damaged, and collection might be an issue.

Complete and total show trial. Libs don't give a damn about the law.
You support that clown? During the Bush years he was one of the leaders of the 9/11 Truther conspiracy theories which were very prevalent on the far left. I thought he WAS a moonbat during those years until he started up with the far-right conspiracy theories during the Obama years. He's just an across-the-board nut. His one constant seems to be that the government is out to get us all, whether it's led by a Repoublican or Democrat.

Now who’s the conspiracy theorist?

Conspiracy theory or not, with all the money that Alex Jones has, this is the best representation he could come up with?

The dude was reprimanded by the judge for chewing gum during the trial, AFTER she had told Jones he couldn't chew gum during trial.

Remember, this isn't about guilt, he's already been found guilty. This is about how much he's got to pay out. It's hard to not think he's been angling for a mistrial this whole time to drag things out.

Occam’s Razor would say that’s all too complex. The guy is a buffoon and he hired buffoon lawyers who would put up with his nonsense and buffoonery. End of story.

Yeah, schadenfreude isn't generally my thing either, but this guy is deserving of "special place in hell" status.
I would disagree it generally does seem to be your thing all you do is wish bad things for Trump and anyone involved with him 24/7 so this is pretty normal for you. You certainly imo seem so enjoy watching those you do not like or agree with suffer which is really twisted . Tell me am wrong.

With all the money that Trump has, that's the best hair cut he could get?

Yes.

A plastic surgeon botched a surgery trying to "repair" The Donald's "monk" bald spot on the back of his head. This is as good as The Donald's hair gets.

That hairdo is amazingly ugly.

With all the money Trump has you'd think he could get a better plastic surgeon. ;) I think a good hair stylist could do better with his hair cut despite that too.

I think he has enough money Bosley could fix the problem. 😂

Is that true?
It's in print . . . whether you believe the source(s) or not is up to you.

[on edit] I'll say this: the allegation is consistent with what I know of Trump's conceit.

According to this link, Jones already suffered a default judgment (not a trial) for failing to turn over documents, and what's going on right now is just to set the damages.

I don't see how his lawyer could be responsible for Jones' earlier failure to give the documents, because those documents would have been in Jones' possession. Yesterday's hearing seemed to establish that Jones just claimed he didn't have any documents until about 10 days ago. If that's all that happened, it doesn't look like the lawyer's fault.

Edit to add: Jones' request for mistrial was apparently just denied:

Art Bell did it so much better.
