Good Woodson Interview on NIL & Next Year

How much did we spend? No one seems to have the answer to that and I’d really like to know.

What your best guess on total NIL?
When Woodson lost his job with the Knicks they had the second highest player salaries in NBA and didn’t make the playoffs. The Knicks owner liked him but Phil Jackson was hired as GM and Woodson was terminated. Similarities to the current situation.

I understand your comments about team needs impacting draft choices. You are right, if a GM decides his team really needs a big like Clingan then of course that GM will value him higher.
About NBA scouting I think there are franchises that do a great job evaluating and drafting, there are run of the mill, and there are idiots. I would say Presti at OKC and Stevens are the best.

Estimates of what IU has to spend have been reported. What hasn't been reported is how much has been spent. I think we have a good estimate on Ballo, which I have seen, but haven't seen anything on any other player. That's what I'm interested in seeing.
Stevens got Porzingis and two draft picks for Marcus Smart.
You have probably looked more than anyone else so I asked for your guess knowing you do not have and so are looking for the hard data.
I have looked and I haven't found it. However, people here post as if they know exactly what has been spent for the players and I was wondering if they have sources for that information.
