Good News: Last Year

They are coordinating high-profile discussions to buy him out. If this is “Nonsense” to you then your starting point is outside the realm of common sense solutions. The fact that these discussions are happening should not be a surprise to anyone, including the most robust CMW fan. Replacements like this are started with discussions amongst the leadership and donor base. Nothing about this process is nonsense.
Matta as the solution is laughable. How’s Butler doing in conference?

I don't think there's any writing on the walls...yet. Woodson, if nothing else, has shown himself and his teams and program at IU to be resilient. I don't know what the "keep him" win total is, or what they'd have to start playing like, but I seriously doubt Dolson, Buckner, whoever is making this decision...I doubt they've even come close to making it yet. And if that's true, I suspect Woodson is more than capable of "doing enough" to save his job at this point.
resilient, when? maybe his 1st year in the big tournament. he has managed to coach talented roster to at best bubble teams. gets his ass kicked every time in out of conference games. he's done, if this team goes 12-8 in the big, I would be shocked.

Money is not a problem they can even do lump sums of 1 million till it's paid off. Matta I would take I would like to see if Beard would be interested but if it's Matta I would support it he recruits the state very well just a few names he landed at Ohio Sate.

Greg Oden, Mike Conley, JaQuan Lyle, Walter Offutt, Deshaun Thomas, Musa Jallow.

I dunno. After Archie got whipped by Indiana State in his debut, I said, "Oh shit" ... and it turned out to be four seasons of "oh shit"

Anyhow, there have to be bigger fish willing to come to Bloomington. That's my hope, anyway.

I would say in each of his first three seasons they’ve rallied a bit at the end of the season to salvage “decent” years. First year they won some games coming home then had a decent BTT run. 2nd year they pushed well at the end to finish 2nd or 3rd in conference, won an NCAA game, etc… Last year wasn’t as good. But it was beyond toxic with a few weeks to go and somehow the mood improved as the year ended.
