LOL He's a comedian, and the picture RBB uses is from the show The Office (guest appearance by Gethard). He's also been on Parks and Recreation and some others.

All I'm saying is that the congressional GOP is all hat, no cattle. I've been saying for years now they are totally full of shit. The funding bill is just another example of that. I'm not complaining....or saying I wanted something different.....because for the most part I don't.

I think this thread is a good one to revisit from May of 2017. Thanks to Spartans9312 for bringing back to my attention. Here in the future the Cardinals are in first place.
That article raises a point. People bring up Biden's competence or honestly. Those are in my mind fair critiques, look at how often I defend Biden on either (none). The one thing I say is that Biden only has to be more competent and more honest than one other person in November of 2020 to win my vote. Trump's answers on nuclear (and that wasn't the best, his one on his uncle is the worst train wreck) and the others in Will's column show how easy it was to make the call that a vote for Biden was the only option.
Biden was not/is not the best choice in America to be president. But that was not what our party system allows us to vote for. We had two people I believe have suffered some decline (the amount by both may be overblown). But the choice was only which of those two should be president.
Hopefully in 2024 we get the rarest of all, a competent candidate who does not want to be president but will do it for the good of America. An Ike. Someone mentioned the person below in the "who do you want" thread, and right now he seems like a good choice.

I will give Trump credit for one thing.... he actually is who he is and didn't surprise a single soul with his presidency.... that is actually rare in politics... would I ever vote for him again? Hell no... not just no but HELL NO! But the Pubs gotta get their shit together to have a better candidate.
People who voted against Hillary and were shocked when Trump actually won started hoping and praying that he would shift from campaign mode into governing mode and would grow into the office. LOL

Thought he’d be 30% less insane after elected. Lots of crazy talk but predictable policy. Tried to make my wife feel a bit better w those odds. I was pretty confident. Then his administrations first act of business was to lie and continue to lie about the size of the effing inauguration crowd. I then went directly into sum-of-all-fears mode.
