You're welcome, but it will definitely change once more of the top players commit to places like UKForgot to say thank you
You seriously think "forward" is one position, don't you?Exactly.
As long as we had a shot for both Garland and Romeo, it's pretty stupid to take ANOTHER forward.
Or IUYou're welcome, but it will definitely change once more of the top players commit to places like UK
Your dad probably tells you you're smart.
lol ....
So much for that..
God I hope so
Another thing to think about is if you wait for Garland and Romeo and it is possible both can wait until spring to sign. If in spring they decide to go elsewhere then we could end of with no one we wanted.
I like this get. Said before I never bitch about getting top 150 big. He can rebound, block shots and finish. Not sure what else you want. If Garland and Langford (sp) want to come we'll find room. Archie is not a whimp. He'll handle his business. Been a while since we had a no nonsense coach. I love it. So quit bitchin and welcome our latest stud. He deserves our support as do all our kinds and their families.
Go Hoosiers!
Unbelievable!!! CAM has yet to coach a game for the Hoosiers and you call him and his staff stupid.
Have you looked at what he did at Dayton? Doesn't seem stupid to me.
The only thing stupid is your post.
Sure glad your not the coach - what body of work do you have to question the staff decision
You seriously think "forward" is one position, don't you?
Frustrating, but he is 6-8 and could grow an inch or two, but we def. don't need him. Maybe I'm underestimating him, and I do hope he becomes great, but not too sure. Moving on, I will cheer for him always as a HOOSIER!
Okay, people, please read this. http://www.insidethehall.com/2017/0...s-father-dwight-discusses-sons-iu-commitment/
His dad describes Forrester through his eyes. He IS 6'10
I think it's hilarious how Crean got crucified.....and rightfully so....for over-signing yet people have zero problem if Archie does it.
Wait, is this for real? Priller was unranked with an offer from Incarnate Word. Forrester is right around the top 150 (he is in the top 150 on Rivals) in all of the rankings and has offers from Xavier, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Minnesota, Pitt, ASU, Miami, Georgia Tech, etc. We also currently have the fifth ranked class in the country, and we don't yet know what Romeo is going to do. He is visiting for Hoosier Hysteria.I agree with you. Archie just recruited his "Priller". A 4 year bench sitter when IU needed that scholly!
Sweet Lord. He's not saying all those guys are capable of switching between four different positions, he's saying that they each play a different position and bring different things to the table.Bite me.
This is what his dad said: "He’s definitely a stretch four."
I also seriously doubt he's 6' 10" as he's not THAT much taller than Archie, who is 5' 10".
So, every tall kid is Magic Johnson now?
(rolleyes)
Also, can you explain why you continue to piss and moan over having a top-five class, and a class that could potentially add Romeo?Exactly.

Yeah you said Romeo was going to be at the Ohio State football game too and that didn't happen.Wait, is this for real? Priller was unranked with an offer from Incarnate Word. I'm really hoping you were joking. Hell, even if you want to ignore all the stuff I just mentioned, just compare their tapes.
He hasn't over-signed. Stop posting stupid stuff you are cluttering the board.I think it's hilarious how Crean got crucified.....and rightfully so....for over-signing yet people have zero problem if Archie does it.

I watched his highlight videos and was ready to be underwhelmed. He looks like a nice player to me. Long. Athletic. Looks like he has good hands.
To me he looks to be a better prospect than a kid like Clifton Moore.

Your reply makes no sense & your obsession with "forwards" doesn't either.People are saying he can do it, Goober.

There can also be a decision to redshirt one of the incoming players. It helps balance the classes, and I would much rather have the player as a 5th year player. I like that Archie is willing to redshirt, unlike the coach IU used to have...I agree.......it looks like we will have a full roster of guys who could compete for pt......no Priller, no Grant G., no Bawa.....the problem with that is that you can't play 14 or 15.......the guys I wonder about for the long-term are Moore & Durham......but they could both surprise. AM re-recruited them so he saw something he liked in each.
I haven't seen a melt like this on here in quite awhile! Well done TheVegasDoesn'tUnderstandForwards. I've been laughing at you for nearly 3 full pages of posts. Please continue as I'm working from home today and you are posting some absolutely hilarious gems here. TIA

Have any of these kids mentioned red-shirting? From what I've seen, one reason they all picked IU is Archie told them they could come in and "contribute significantly as a freshman."
Not sure how they are all going to do that with 13 players on the squad that can actually play.
Oh he's gone off the rails, but amazingly he doesn't have the dumbest post in this thread. That goes to the moron that compared this kid to Priller.I haven't seen a melt like this on here in quite awhile! Well done TheVegasDoesn'tUnderstandForwards. having four players to play three positions is pretty damn stupid.
What I appreciate about this recruiting class is that all the recruits are already basketball players. We aren't banking on potential or athleticism to make up for bball smarts. No more Jurkins, Perreas, Aprils, or Munirus, where we hope they develop. Gosh, I don't miss Crean.
You do know there are already other forwards on the team too, right Sunshine?
And last time I checked, there are 2 forward positions, not 3.
So, we have 7 or 8 players for 2 spots.
My bad.
I forgot we all have to bow down and excuse away EVERYTHING the coach does or else that means we aren't a "real" fan and can never ever ever ever say anything remotely bad or question ANYTHING he does.
Please forgive me Pope Redbeard.........
OG, Oladipo and Sheehey were basketball players. Perrea was an athlete. Jurkin was tall, as were Muniru, April and Jobe. Signing Perrea was worth the risk. The other 3, they were not and never were going to be basketball players at a B1G level. Reaches like this are one of many reasons that cthec is no longer coaching here. Archie has gained commitments from basketball players, some of whom are also exceptional athletes. I'm thrilled Archie is our coach.Or O.G.'s, Oladipo's, Sheehey's? Yeah, that was a horrible time! Jurkin and Perea were 4 stars that everyone wanted. Let's not fool ourselves into pretending they were the same as April or Tijan Jobe. You hated Crean, we got it.
