Former IU DE David Kenney "dismissed" from Illinois State

Sad, he doesn't seem to be finding his way. Hope he does not end up on slow path to something unproductive or worse. Football is not the end all. Good luck to him and suggest focus on academics, self-discipline and setting goals you want for yourself.

Former I.U. DE and 4-star recruit David Kenney, who took a leave of absence from the program in August of 2014, and then transferred to Illinois State, was dismissed from Illinois State football in January of 2016. He played one season for the Redbirds, in 2015, and saw action in 7 games, recording 11 tackles.

Just a huge lack of maturity on his end. He's pissed away two golden opportunities. Hope he can fix his problems before he breaks the law and finds his world upside down.
