Dood, if they touched down wing first, this would have been a totally different story and I didn't say that they did it all on purpose. But there was a split second that they had to go either totally inverted or belly. C'mon man.

Naw... I'm not buying it... It seems like it all happened too fast at too low an altitude to be able to fully pull that type of manuver off in an intentional manner....
Supposedly, per one talking head "expert" they slid off the runway a little and caught the gear on something, causing them to flip...

Update: from another angle (cell phone video) it looked like a really hard landing that caused the starboard landing gear to buckle...
All the big shots at Boeing have been from McDonald Douglas and have made some really stupid decisions ... always rushing everything instead of being concerned about safety.
