I think they engraved Smith's name on the trophy back in Dec.

that said, big shout out to TKR. Without him, Smith would be the point guard on a mid-pack B1G team fighting just to get in the tournament this year. TKR isn't the same type of player as the big Ogre but he did fill the vacuum caused by Edey's departure very well. When people were making their pre-season All B1G 1st team list, didn't see anyone mention TKR's name.

Yep, Painter is terrific at adjusting to his roster. Heard Hummel mentioning something about how Painter maximizes his best players. I expect this will be another early exit PU team because I think this roster can be gameplanned around, but you've got to give him credit for turning out competitive teams that play hard and win way more than you'd expect.

also crazy to see that Wisky is 0.1 ppg away from being the highest scoring team in conf games. And far and away the best 3pt shooting team.
