I’ll feel way less angry about CovidNo shit. Maybe he'll just bitch about the price of Maseratis instead of crab legs.

Even in one of the most highly regulated industries in the country, the market is trying to sort this out. More and more travelers are making carrier decisions based on who is flying these 737 MAX aircraft. However, Uncle Sugar will step in and prop them up instead of letting them fail. The unions are demanding big pay hikes and threatening strikes. This is starting to smell a little bit like General Motors around late 2008.
umm yea... That will disrupt the laminar flow over the lift surfaces. Squawk 7700 , Departure we are coming back, divert everyone else.
Wtf is wrong with them.Who had "exploding planes" on their bingo card?

300 Boeing planes could have potentially fatal fault
The FAA warned Boeing that improper electrical grounding on its 777 could result in 'fire or explosion' mere months, according to a notice first reported by DailyMail.comwww.dailymail.co.uk
I don't know. That industry is the wild west. We need to introduce at least some federal regulations to ensure this can never happen...Wtf is wrong with them.
That entire Boeing faa relationship was way too cozyI don't know. That industry is the wild west. We need to introduce at least some federal regulations to ensure this can never happen...

A Pearson statement says all crew and passengers are accounted for. Crazy video of passengers getting out of an upside down passenger jet.
Thank God.A Pearson statement says all crew and passengers are accounted for. Crazy video of passengers getting out of an upside down passenger jet.
I hate that! But it is normal re that tape. I hate flyingHere are some pics from my flight home Friday. I took these while the pilot was talking "a few maintenance issues" that were causing our delay.
Guy next to me was like "Is that MFer putting 100mph tape on the wing?"

Yeah, and The Kid Down the Hall wants us to go to Octoberfest in Munich this year.I hate that! But it is normal re that tape. I hate flying
I've driven through this tunnel 10 times in the last 5 years. Even driving has me worried now.Yeah, and The Kid Down the Hall wants us to go to Octoberfest in Munich this year.
Me: “Can we drive?”
So do we want regulation or less regulation? There’s a lot of folks on the right that rail incessantly about any kind of regulation. Can we agree that some regulation in certain areas is just necessary?the regulators are in bed with boeing. boeing is truly a too big to fail co-opted entity. they are essentially self-regulated
It's got to be effective though. The airline industry is already one of the most highly regulated in the country. So do we want regulation or less regulation? There’s a lot of folks on the right that rail incessantly about any kind of regulation. Can we agree that some regulation in certain areas is just necessary?
Gotta be a miracle that no one died.A Pearson statement says all crew and passengers are accounted for. Crazy video of passengers getting out of an upside down passenger jet.
Still early but from what we know so far I’m not seeing an explanation other than DEIGotta be a miracle that no one died.

TBH, it can make laminar flow work more efficient creating better lift and more controlled flight. Here are some pics from my flight home Friday. I took these while the pilot was talking "a few maintenance issues" that were causing our delay.

Reasonable oversight is fine. The difference between extreme regulation with the regulators in bed with industry, turning a blind eye, and no regulation is that we don't bleed tax $ out the azz for no regulations. So do we want regulation or less regulation? There’s a lot of folks on the right that rail incessantly about any kind of regulation. Can we agree that some regulation in certain areas is just necessary?
I call you a name that rhymes with Bucker!

On an RJ... Lets bump that to at least 600mph tape. JUST to build a wee bit of safety factor. But I'm right there with ya!It also saves a lot of time when you forgot that special screwdriver back on the hanger workbench and want to cover those scary looking empty screw holes... (let's hope that was "400 mph" tape)... 🙈
Gotta be a miracle that no one died.
How that Pilot got that plane totally inverted, just in time, during what is probably an amazing about of sudden cross wind, is honestly amazing. It was their only chance. He/she should be admired, but we all know that he/she will be scapegoated no matter.

There are 2 long tunnels on the northern part of I77 in Virginia. Always an intense drive with traffic all around you, especially with semis.I've driven through this tunnel 10 times in the last 5 years. Even driving has me worried now.
