being fired for personal politics is different than being fired for constantly starting arguments about politics that aren’t related to the work/job

Dakich is an idiot and may have burned whatever shred of a connection/trust that IU has for him. He’s a miserable clown.
I imagine he’d act a lot differently under Izzo, a guy who coached forever, versus Woody, who has never been a college coach. I also think it’s interesting that Woody made it obvious he was firing him, not giving Fife the opportunity to move on / resign. Must have been a lot of bad blood.
I understand the confusion as to whether they have a game or not...being that the NCAA tournament is happening and all, never mind the actual second weekend of it.

He isn’t pushing politics. Fife was pushing political rhetoric to recruits. Pissed Dolson and Woody off. That’s what he’s saying.
Rabby said it as well as others. His closeness to DD isn’t helping him either. If I’m of any standing in IUs coaching staff or administration I’m keeping a big distance to DD.

It is amazing for years we talked about having fife back we needed players like him. The next thing you know he is gone and he is getting slammed all over the internet. There are two sides to every story would be interesting to see what the players say and fife himself. Probably will never know but it's just hard to imagine fife is as horrible as he is being made out to be or how did he last 10 years at MS. Is it possible dolson made him huge promises on his role and Woodson had other ideas? Dolson put them both in a no win situation?
So fife now enemy number one. It's amazing how fast people turned on him took two hours. He went from being the next iu coach to an enemy. I guess he is the new Mike Davis.

Is that really what you think this is about? I'd love to hear some actual facts on this which I doubt any of you have any. My God this place is beyond belief. You are sure if true that went over, well just how? You have some internal knowledge about this? Or just because you think you are always right about everything? I have said and said keep politics off this board but when people like you post this crap acting like you have some great internal knowledge? You forget she is right about everything. I'm sure she doesnt push her agenda on her students either LOL but thats OK . I really try and keep politics off here but sometimes I have to respond
