My brother is a Republican judge in Indiana and trump is not his kind of leader. But he can not voice any kind of criticism or he will b black balled by the leadership.
As I have said multiple times here, my wife and I both were republicans until Trump came along. Although I began to sour on the party in the early 2000’s when W went into Iraq under made up pretenses. Still voted for some republicans but mostly on a local level. Did vote for Pence regrettably for governor but then he sold his soul to b vp. I registered as an independent when we built here in Florida. My wife is still a registered Republican but won’t vote for any national republicans here in Florida. I’ve always voted for candidates on both sides of the isle based on how they matched up with my principles and beliefs. Will never vote for someone like trump who lacks any kind of moral compass, empathy or shred of decency.

I'm not talking about two different situations. Members of Trump's campaign team were indicted. The Mueller Report was investigating whether or not there was Russian interference in the 2016 election and whether or not there was collusion from the Trump campaign. They stopped just short of finding collusion.

No, the ones that were convicted were for process crimes or issues that had nothing to do with Russia Russia Russia.

That BS really got going when Trump said there were "good people" on "both sides" of the debate about removing Confederate statues. The left portrayed it as him saying there were good people on both sides of the "white supremacy" debate - and it was off to the races. After that, if you did not rend your clothing and declare all Trump voters heretics loudly enough, i.e. if you voted Libertarian because both sides were crazy, you were branded as a white nationalist supporter, a Klan supporter, a racist, a fascist, a Nazi (by people who either never knew history or forgot it or ignored it like a vote whore).

These are people who jettisoned friends and family over Donald Trump. Who supported firing nurses over not getting a vaccine after demanding those nurses work without a vaccine. Who called you a murderer if you claimed the science showed a vaccine did not stop SPREAD, or suggested natural immunity was sufficient for survivors, and shifted to "well, at least it helps stop serious illness" only after even Fauci came off the lie.

The Democrat leaders of 2017-2021 - and an uncomfortable percent of Clinton/Biden voters - were simply without any moral compass. “By any means necessary.” Power junkies.

The only time the FBI passed on "false information" about a Presidential candidate to the public was in 2016 when they released the info regarding Weiner's laptop in Oct, about a month prior to the election. Don't even pretend that anyone in the public realm was made aware of the fact that a Steele dossier even existed, much less it's contents prior to Nov 2016...

Comey made an error of judgement in 2016 in releasing the letter announcing the investigation into Weiner's laptop. There wasn't any new info at all, but once the genie was out of the bottle, you can't put it back in...

All that Wray was trying to insure in 2020 by warning of Russian misinformation and not wanting to discuss anything to do with an ALLEGED laptop, was to keep the FBI from making the same mistake they made in 2016. As of yet there are no charges related to any of that, but according to you all of that should have been litigated in the court of public opinion prior to the election? Just like an investigation was launched into Hillary in Oct 2016 and opinions and votes shifted on something that amounted to nothing?

Wray was another lifelong Republican appointed by Trump and Barr was trump's AG. I'd argue that if they were determined to keep the issue out of the public realm prior to the election it was not to favor Biden, but rather to avoid repeating 2016 when Comey (unintentionally) made a move that ended up likely electing Trump. Your side seems to be arguing that since they wanted to remain neutral they were intentionally choosing to help Biden. Why exactly would that be?
