It was quite apparent that you are not alone in your idiocy but that survey is hardly conclusive of anything given the limited amount of people that took the survey and the results being so close.

Even if it didn't, shouldn't we all be concerned about the possible ways in which the NEXT pandemic might start? That a lab leak can't be taken off the table for Covid-19 makes it clear we need to think about preventing future outbreaks that way.
Fauci tainted himself and his organization with his noble lie regarding masks. Now, who can blame people for thinking he is once again employing that logic here: that he thinks it more beneficial to continue certain research vs. shutting t it down, weighing the good they can do with that research higher than the risk of a leak and resultant damage. He might be right, but it needs to be part of a democratic debate and decision process.
