I think this whole issue began turning once John Judis and Ruy Teixeira’s book “The Emerging Democratic Majority” began to take root as conventional wisdom in the world of politics.

Shocking how they wound up being President and Vice President at the same time. Biden never got above low single digits among Democrat when he ran prior to2020, and Harris, never left the starting gate in 2020, yet they won.
