Ed Schilling is Leaving...

Now's your chance, @fpeaugh . With your "connections" you should be able to easily get an interview for the position. Or you may already have Miller on speed dial. You can wow him with your basketball "knowledge" and your "connections" to every recruit in the country would surely be welcome. I don't doubt all the other coaches you "personally know" will vouch for you. Go get that open position and show the world how it's done.

I don’t have any “connections”. Just some friends. And I don’t know 99.9% of recruits. You need to regain your composure.

Football seems to be doing fine. Recruiting has improved dramatically and the staff is pretty solid. Basketball is another story.
Did Football sign a top 25 player in the country two years in a row? No. Football is a numbers game IU is nowhere close to competing for the B1G crown in football. Basketball could compete quickly with the right
future recruits.

I like the shake-up...something needed to happen to improve the coaching staff.
Whether was this asst, or any other, doesn’t really matter to me.
There is now an opportunity to address a weakness...pick one.

However, I am hopeful Schilling is leaving clean, and leaving IU clean. UMass, Memphis, the Balls/UCLA, Romeo, AAU coach, etc offers lots of opportunity...I hope all is clear.
Doesn't matter anymore...it's open season for cheating look around...just don't self report..deny..deny..deny

Seat is hot Archie knows it..

Socks. Shorts, one-two-three dribbles while inhaling, exhale, eye it, fly it . . . swish.

How hard can that be?
I remember John Ritter saying that the key to good free throw shooting are practice and routine. Develop a routine -- it doesn't matter what that routine is -- and then practice it over and over and over again.
John was a pretty fair FT shooter.

I have been in favor of dropping at least 1 assistant coach. It is difficult to know the exact roles of each of Miller's staff, but needless to say there were 2 transfers, chemistry issues, recruits who "got away", and teams IU was not well prepared for (Michigan and Nebraska come to mind).

For whatever role each assistant played in those things, as well as individual coaching on things like shooting, free throws, and post play, it is not too difficult to see that something had to give for Archie. He is ultimately responsible and going a different route is at least giving a chance for improved overall coaching.

I also suggest that Miller's assistants, in general, look lost during timeouts, but that is tough for me to prove.

Saved me a lot of time

If you spent as much time on your own board as you do ours, you'd know what I'm talking about. What's weird is you guys buy his shit. Do you know his back story?

He's an IU fan pretending to be a Purdue fan because he's miserable prick desperately looking for validation. He's Alford's personal fluffer and pretends to root against IU because IU has wronged Alford.
