It does not work with no perimeter shooters.

I have noticed way to many teams going to the weave and just does not understand it. Over all offense in college basketball is dreadful and it does not appear it will get any better soo. A couple of weeks ago we had a game finish 47-24 and who would have thought you could win a game by that margin scoring 47 points. Today OSU scored 45 points with 14 n the second half so what is the problem in college basketball.

Could be the result of AAU teams running the weave and Defenses having their post man hedging out at the 3pt line in an attempt to disrupt the drive off of the hand off, or pick up the charge when the hand-off dribbler's momentum takes them into the stationary defender.

Too much dependence on young players. Watch Duke, UK, etc play. It's not the offensive system that makes them look good, its having talent at every position that can make plays. Backcourts are the most important thing in college basketball (say it every year). Starting Frehman, Freshman, and Sophomore doesn't work unless those freshmen are ready for the NBA (especially in the extremely experienced B10). Its looked like men against boys because it, literally, has been.

They basically have been. I will never understand how handing the ball off and a defender intentionally running into you is a moving screen when if you kept the ball it would be a foul on the defender.....

Dribble handoffs need to be made illegal in basketball.

Yes but Calipari does a great job getting a bunch of new players to "buy in" year in and year out.

Not too much young players.
Duke is likely the favorite to win it all.
