Dakich is so confusing: Crean is a great coach that wins championships and develops great players; Indiana does the worst job playing out of the double team on Bryant (something that has bothered me for the entire season). You'd think a great coach like Crean would have solved this horrible problem long ago!

Remember DD also spent weeks on his show talking about how "IU" is good at talking...talking...talking. Need to shut up and play. Chatter and controversy is good for sports radio particularly when news is slow as IU is not winning and the Colts news is slow.

DD personally trashed CKW for being a "ass" for two years and then bitched about his firing...for being an ass.

Stir the pot and the ratings stay up...period.

Unfortunately, you may be correct. Next year will be as ugly as this one, especially if Thomas leaves which he likely will. Crean's inability to get great talent will really show next season.

Bryant can't defend a simple pick and roll. Who the heck is going to take him in the first round?

The media, currrnt and former coaches will endorse Crean. Jay Bills is the smartest guy and his opinion carries a lot of weight. He has a platform at espn and will bash IU if Crean is let go. That's the media men.

No such thing as a smart guy who endorses Crean.

Dakich thinks Crean is a clueless buffoon but also loves the university. So he'd rather bite his tongue than be openly critical. Every compliment and endorsement towards Crean is tongue in cheek. Dakich wants an IU guy and has openly made that clear

IU rapidly heading further into college basketball mediocrity
Butler has supplanted them in Indiana and Purdue continues to expand its winning edge over IU
NW has the last 5 years even become more relevant
Defense wins tournaments and we have not seen that at IU in a long time
Wisc, MSU, MD and now PU and Mn seem to be rising rapidly in national opinion which is what gets recruits
