It's not humorous, but I saw someone a few years older from my hometown has been stuck on the cruise ship near Japan since Jan. 20th. They are supposed to be flying home and staying in quarantine for two more weeks. 300 people on the ship have tested positive for the virus.

Another reason for me to not take a cruise.

Poor woman -- clearly she is catering to guys who like the girl next door genre but yet the poor woman can't even catch a break from high school till now.
I have asked a few women friends of mine if any of their husbands have had a sudden need to ''travel abroad for business'' or been down with some bad flu or caught the virus unexplainably. :rolleyes:;)

Hey, nothing wrong with staying two more weeks in a place where you can get pork chops at 3 in the morning. As long as they all have food and water and the toilets work then it's an extra vacation.
 
I saw a Facebook Marketplace listing from someone where I grew up that had a single roll of TP being offered for $100. I assume it was a joke.

I called my dad to make sure he was doing what he should be doing. He was at an American Legion pancake breakfast and was going to see a play in the evening and church on Sunday. All this is a week after being in the ICU for a hitting his head in a fall.

An hour away where I live, churches are cancelling, every music performance is cancelled, and the streets on this Saturday are as bare as the TP section at Meijer. Our nearby movie theater didn't have a car in the parking lot.

BTW, I know where there are 200 rolls of TP. Let me know if you run out. I can give you a special AOTF discount.

Our church in Kokomo Indiana has cancelled services tomorrow. Is the state government behind that? Have they declared for groups to not meet?

Our church will show services on a live stream on their Facebook page. The office will be closed for a period of time. As of now, my dad's church hasn't canceled services or restricted access to the church. I have to think large churches will do something like my church is doing.

Our casino is still open. I have a friend in Las Vegas right now that is having a great time and the casinos are as full as normal. A friend that plays in a band was setting up Friday afternoon for their usual performance at a local establishment.

My son was supposed to be a narrator for the Philharmonic Orchestra performance tonight. After performing Thursday for school children, all other performances were canceled. Luckily my daughter got to see it as the school she teaches at attended the only performance. Not sure if he will be paid the full amount or not.

I'm concerned for this woman. What if the Coronavirus is elsewhere on her body? Give her my # and I'll take care of washing the rest of her. I also don't think 20 seconds is nearly long enough. I should be able to finish up in about 5 minutes.

a whole body wash, takes a whole body washcloth in my book! I promise I'll be thorough. I'm no Doctor, but my suspicion is that virus could be in any nook or cranny. Can't be too careful these days.
